Fantastic pictures and a great looking watch. Now - if only they would put the 9 hour marker back and make a new GMT hand - that would be pretty much perfect. I think that the A's on this one look spot on as well!

How is the date mag - is it the right size?

This is rather upsetting.

This have been vexing me as well. I have a ETA 7750 movement and would like to swap it into one of my reps.

For me - it is a matter of which one (don't want to put it into just ANY watch). But then - the hand also have to fit. What a pain.

RIght now - i am going to simply let it sit on the side and wait.

I really like the idea of the new watches with a real 7750. However, don't like those prices. Ouch.

Well, it's my first rep so I was very excited. Ordered it from Andrew, arrived after 7 days, nicely packed, no problem with customs. And I must say it's a real beauty, everything looks perfect - at least for me, complete noob.

EXCEPT (unfortunately) - date font, it seems somehow it got wrong datewheel - although pictures indicate correct font. There are also some reviews of watches from other dealers that show correct font. So this was real disappointment, not because it's incorrect - I don't really care - but because it looks really ugly on this watch. I'm including some pictures of this nice watch.

Look at this number 8 - it's sooo wrong, it screams fake ...

With my experience with the PAM 063 2892 - i am always worried about missing out on something that might end up worse later or be discontinued. So if it is good enough or has a path to becoming a pretty good rep through mods - I am willing to jump on it when it gets to the dealer i want. For instance, i bought the Omega SMP Chrono right out of the gate. The datewheel and insert alighment issues were fixable.

Of course - the main point is that I have to love the watch. The HBB could be perfect - but it is not for me.

Do you guys know if it is at all possible to swap the movement with a real 7753? How is it, that the date does not seem to be as sunken on this one? The 7753 should work is the subdial spacing is right. It is a matter of depth at that point, right?

You are probably not going to believe this - but it all started when I was high school. One of the summers I took a trip to Taiwan and hooked up with some folks who where on a Rolex hunting expedition. I followed along for the ride. While i did not buy a rep that trip - i bought a "gen" Tag Heuer. In a subsequent trip, i went on a Omega hunting expedition and came back with a cheap Omega branded watch (of a model that did not even exist). I also came to believe that the Tag that i originally bought was probably not genuine either (although it came will all the necessary papers and documents).

Anyway, 2 years ago - i decided that I liked that PAM's due to a magazine advertizement. So I looked on e-bay to try and get a gen used one. Imagine my sticker shock when i saw the actual prices. However, I saw someone selling a "replica". I bought the rep - got taken for a bundle, given what I know now - but stumbled on to RWG in the process. The rest is history. A long forgotten interest (High School was a long, long time ago now) which has been rekindled.

It is great to be here amongst friends.

Quick update: SS bracelet will be available on Jan 20th. Quite similar to the one for the model TAG051-Swiss you can see HERE

Still waiting to know if we can see pics of a sample before to order and if some of you that do not want the rubber strap could order directly the SS bracelet for same price (230 USD).

The fact that it seems to be getting harder does make we worry a bit. I get the feeling that thing will get harder and harder as we get closer to the olympics as well. Better get our stuff now.....

There's already a ss bracelet available with the automatic Tag Heuer.

Chrono has the same bracelet, perhaps manufaturers gotta change just the link with springbar that fits the case (and serial number but i don't care about that).

Dear (all): I would like to remind you that I'm in the middle of his "battle" just for the pleasure of helping the community to save some money and if possible, improve the final product. I've been helped many times for may members that spent their time in similar things that I tried to return a bit.

Clarified this point, understand that the best I can do is transmit to King your requests to see if she could help. But as a premise, this group buy is for the watch that is advertised by King in her web site. So if there's no different announce, that's what you will get (WYSIWYG). Some things can be clarified by asking her (like the Tag logo in the clasp, which finally is) but don't expect that date-fonts or dial finishing could be changed. Also, the SS bracelet topic, is very risky, taken in account that unless there's an existing model already made for another Carrera or Tag valid for this Carrera model, developing a new one from scratch may result in a non accurate final product.

I will make King aware of our expectations and I'll keep you informed about her feedback. Thanks a lot all of you for you support (and patience)

Guys, not trying to be difficult here. Just trying to be apart of the buy. For instance, if the existing SS bracelet from the other model where to fit - that would be fine as well. Sash just put up the same watch with a weird date font. Just wanted to make sure that we are not talking about that watch. The standard one king has plus the SS option is all i am asking for. thanks for your efforts. Much appreciated.

So I understand the today she only has access to the rubber band but that the rep factory can make the SS bracelet for 25 USD. I asked her for the possibility of keeping that price for only small amount of orders for SS bracelet and some pics before order. I'll keep you informed.

Just to update my position - assuming the bracelet is good - i am willing to pay extra for that as well. It sounds like you could get the rubber band with SS as an addition band for $25. I am good with that.

Also - lets be very clear with King that the date font has to be correct. Not willing to go with some of the other date fonts that have just been posted. Thanks!
