Wow - looks great!

Way too thick. Pushers for chronos are too fat and protrude too far. All due to movement. Pass....

What do you girls think of the 250 or the 312?
cskent69 replied to tanya's topic in The Panerai Area
I am not a fan of the 312. Something about the "9" getting jammed up next to the seconds dial. I like the 250 though. I would make that trade. -
Folks, FGD is out of hands - but we distributors still have em. PM me if you need any....
-
For those in CONUS - if you still need em - I can take orders again. Best regards.

Ok guys - I have put together some instructions on how to get these from me. It is in the Tools and Parts section. Go here:

Guys - totally at work right now - so will post instructions tonight!!! Just FYI, I do not have them yet from FGD. So I obviously can not ship them until I do. Look for my post around 9PM tonight!!! There will be instructions and everything...

Well - good luck my friend. I had this happen to me - and I say "hey - I will just drill it out and use the springbar instead of screws." It totally did not work. The reason - is that the screw potentially has a different hardness than the case - and it is hard to keep the damn thing straight. In the end - I had to toss the case. Very sad. I was [censored].

Chinese Replica Corrected Date Wheel

Wow - this looks great. I assume that the date numbers are really centered - and that it is off due to the slow date change at 11pm? Could yo do a picture at 7PM? -
Love the mobile version of this site now. MUCH BETTER - and I am on via mobile alot!

Pre-V Case project - Lates Pics on Page 4

I would be happy with one of these Pre-V cases... let alone a nice F-series CG if we are going to go into dream land... -
Now - this is an interesting case - where did this come from?????

New Chrono PAMs from DSN - 188, 196 and a new T-S-T dial to boot
cskent69 replied to w0lf's topic in The Panerai Area
A font on PANERAI seems a little off. Too pointy at the top. Hopefully he will sell parts. That bezel and CG are - not so good. A font on PANERAI seems a little off. Too pointy at the top. Hopefully he will sell parts. That bezel and CG are - not so good. -
Same here. Count me in for 2

I just received my Palp crown and the fact that it is not even a little polished (and the wrong depth dimension - which I have to return to him)is a little disappointing. I would polish at least a little.
-
As one persons opinion.... T, I would try to go for getting as close to genuine as possible. I would suspect that the people who are willing to spend the money to upgrade their crown to a better quality one - are those of us who are trying to get as close to genuine as possible. I for one, will only be interested in the proper depth crowns - to go with all of the aftermarket CG's. The whole modding experience of Crown and CG go together. And, if that means that we need to also replace the crown tube - we are more likely than not to be willing to ask a modder to do that as well. I certainly am. One thing that does not seem to have been pointed out yet - is that I have noticed on the 3 T-48 crowns that I have, as well as in these pictures, the crowns are not "flat" across the ridges as you go from inside to outside, where as the genuine crowns are. See the following picture. It is very slight - but I thought that I would point it out. Not a show stopper - but of your production guys can take it into account - why not.

My PAM1B, over a year in the making finally done right!
cskent69 replied to w0lf's topic in The Panerai Area
I agree - I think that it has to be the 3.5mm crystal. So if it ends up protruding up a little to far - that is fine i guess. Better than flush. Wolf - beauiful watch. Really great. -

Hey - sorry for joining the party late on this topic - but what is the right crystal height supposed to be with this watch? Is it supposed to protrude just above the bezel? I am one of those who could sure use the right gasket. I have always wondered if a genuine gasket would work - since Jimmy repped a genuine case. Also - been searching for the best non-jimmy case for one of these (which the right low cutout between the lugs, etc. Anyone got any suggestions? -

It is my understanding that there are actually two different casebacks for the 201a. If you look at gen pictures, it is all in the "a"s. Low and mid cross bar a's both exist from the gen pictures that i have seen. Can't go wrong either way.
