Here is the latest Eurotimez V5.2? from his site. Here is what I see as compared to other Dealers versions: 1. Better bezel insert 2. Better 5 minute markers on dial (not as fat surrounds- and flatter). So it seems (not withstanding the new entry of 316F) it has different strengths. Here is hoping that this new version is closer. It took me a while to find this picture as ET's site is not intuitive and this is not easy to get.

Hmmm, looks interesting. I have not seen one of those before. If it is meant to be silver, it should have the radial brushing. Can't quite tell from the picture.

Lani, This has been a fabulous review series and the most fun I have had reading on the forum for quite some time. It is engaging, enlightening and selfless. Thanks for taking all of the time to take the great pictures and answer all those questions that sit in the minds of us amateurs. I have been on the fence on this watch for a long time, waiting for the right time to take a chance. All the hype around the other versions thankfully never made me a believer. But, this is it. Except for the ceramic bezel |10 | issue, this watch solves all those issues I have been waiting for. Ordered this one yesterday. Great job. CSK

Here is the new DSSD from the cartel. I think it is pretty good - but want other opinions. I have been looking to get one of these DSSD's for a long time - but there were so many issues - even the V5-2 from Eurotimez, I just decided to wait. Could this be it?

Yep - seen that before. Tried to use an actual dw as an overlay way way back in the day (too think and wrong progression). Honest mistake. So reorder and print new ones!

I am really interested in this watch but I have a number of things that are making me hesitate. First is, aren't the dial numerals supposed to have silver surrounds? Also, the date number in the window looks to be pretty off (too low) in the datewindow. What do you all think? Yeah - you have to get a dial where the datewindow was made for the 7753. On the A7750 it is in the wrong place (more clockwise and closer in). A real 7753 is different. That is why these transplants are hard - you have to get the right hands too.

Dude - thanks for the writeup. You answered everything that we have all been waiting for. Crap - I wish they had geared the 6 for 60. I guess it does not matter - I never really use it anyway.

Looks good. How is the pearl (at 12) in all of the pictures (yours, and the ones on the cartel sites - it is a little blurry - not sure why that is. Also, how big are your wrists. I am always worried about these types of bands, because I have only 6.5in wrists.

Silver numeral surrounds please!

I love this watch. My only wish is that they made a 7753 version, or that the datewindow could be modded to accomodate a 7753 movement. That would make this watch perfect. Drop of a 7753 in there and do away with that sunken datewheel. I think that the date pusher would even accomodate it since it moves...

Oh - one last thing. The serial number on the side should be silver on these - versus gold/bronze on the surf, i think.

Hour surrounds look a little thick and the dw is obviously low. I like it though. I will pick it up when they fix the caseback.

Agree with everyone here. Wish that the 6 Copper Sulfate was below the dial. But really now - who the hell has heard of Sinn but a rare few - and who is going to know that it is in the wrong place. I am curious about the bezel. Is it tight, or not. Hopefully given the way that it was constructed - it is well built.

Not sure what others think of these but I am a Lucky or 7 guy. For some reason, the Lucky jeans fly joke never gets old to me...maybe I am just juvenile....
