  1. Damn Hike, I forgot what I was going to say................ I am in FL also. Never seen those birds. I do have squirrels that will take peanuts from my hand though.
  2. Picked up this really nice Chanel J12 for my girlfriend's birthday. Got it from my local watch guy. Solid ceramic and the stones really sparkle. I am a bit jealous. Hope this is a bit more durable considering she broke the swiss masterpiece my girls are famous for. I would definitely recommend this watch for any of the members ladies.
  3. I went to my local watch dealer yesterday and first thing he shows me is the new Breitlings he just got in. Very nice quality quartz super avengers. He had one in black and one in white. They are nice heavy well made watches and even have AR. Great price considering they are quartz so I decided on the white one for myself. Good thing it wasn't meant for anyone else I guess. Can't believe I missed the obvious. I am wearing it anyway. Can anyone tell em what's wrong with this picture? BTW, I think the black dial one was correct. Doh...
  4. Would be pretty dim (pun intended)
  5. Looks like the Graham is ahead so far. Will be easy to ship internationally due to the fact that no one knows what the hell a Graham is. Keep up the ideas. Lets get this started soon.
  6. ROFLMAO. I can attest it works.................... Thats what Im talking about.
  7. A new decade deserves a new PAW!!! Ok so maybe I'm drunk and maybe I'm a bit nostalgic but I miss the PAW. I insist that the PAW be photographed in front of at least one tittie bar. I did a tour of tittie bars with the previous PAW. Either way, we need a new PAW! So my proposition to RWG. To bring in the new year, we will have a vote on what should be the new PAW. I present 4 watches for your consideration. All in perfect working order and all ready to be shipped out to the next recipient. I will take pics of the winning watch and then send it to the next most eligible member. Since membership has grown substantially since the last PAW I think some rules must be put into place. 1. Supporting members only. Even if you have been here since day one, no support, no PAW. 2. Member for more than 6 months. I thought originally this should be a year but there are so many good members that come in all the time. 3. You must ship the PAW to the next person within 2 weeks of receiving it. No hogging the PAW. 4. You must adhere to the laws of the PAW as previously stated and decided in the future. I am posting some pics of watches I am willing to donate. This is a preview. If we come to a consensus on one of these, great. If someone suggests something else, great. Remember this is a watch that will undergo tremendous wear and stress and should not be expected to recover. The PAWII will survive for as long as the members will let it. Now on to some pics. Adding to the list of choices and rules is strictly encouraged. Lets decide January 2010!!!. Chose one of these for the PAW donated by yours truly or add your own.
  8. Well, another year gone. I have to say I have met more good people here than I have met in the real world. I am grateful for the generosity, caring and good nature of the members of RWG. I have been around these boards since about 2002 and remember when there were a handful of us posting at RWCC. I quickly moved to TRC and then here to RWG (although I fought leaving TRC for a while). I want the membership to know that the friends and acquaintances I have acquired her at RWG, far surpass most I have in the "real" world. The character of the membership far exceeds the expectations I have of any friend. I want to say thank you RWG for providing me with a place to discuss my hobby, my passion and most of all to meet people with the same values and character that I try to bring forth to others. RWG a true class act. Some members that have mad an impression on me this year in no particular order: HikeUSA Rennwerkes BUBU Phoband WatchesNYC77807 nikki6 Nanuk Kenberg (KB) Admin (of course thanks T) Two Tone Gioarmani HackR Ubiquitous shtslr1 RobbieG (hope all is well brother) P4GTR I'm sure there are others. Please forgive me if you aren't listed here. There are so many people who have made an impression on me. Thanks everybody for a great year. I wish you all nothing but the best for the future and may RWG expand, mature and prosper for years to come.
  9. Damn, such an old thread. I think the PAW needs to be resurrected. I have a few watches I am willing to pass around. After Jan. 1st I will post pics and the members will vote on which one. There will be some new restrictions on where the PAW goes. Stay tuned for more.
  10. Didn't even notice I got him in the pic. LOL.
  11. 75 degrees and sunny. Life is good. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, Happy Kwanza and a super happy Festivus for the rest of us. Best wishes to all RWG, friends and family.
  12.   After this purchase you are now officially cut off. No watch for you!!!
  13. I only buy pre owned gens. Same with my cars. Save lots of money that way. I buy when I find a deal I cannot pass up. I don't always set out looking for a genuine watch.
  14. She gave me her number 867-5309. Called herself Jenny.
  15. That statement while perfect for this post, is the exact opposite of why most of us collect replicas. I for one would rather have 50 replicas than one gen.
  16. Should have left the dial alone. The diamond settings are bas too. They aren't even.
  17. Are you sure about that? Maybe not everyone holds their watch to their forehead saying look at me look at me... Could just be the paranoia from all the watch collecting, or lack of the drugs you were trying to pick up. My guess is however, if he was wearing that bad of a rep, Rolex no less, he wouldn't know a Panerai from a pan of ziti.
  18. Oh, so many things wrong with them Rolex doesn't make a dial that even resembles that. None of those are working chronographs. Even the Bulova appears to be fake. $15 or $20 each at best.
  19. The reason they won't respond with additional pictures is because the pics they are using are from genuine watches. Stay away from these sites they will rip you off. You will find most of the dealers here will respond promptly and you will get exactly what you pay for.
  20. Only if you insist on not saying right. Plus its easier to bend the clasp by hand. No need to remove the strap or risk marring the metal.
  21. Looks like someone tried to cut the arm off of the person wearing it. How does that happen?
  22. First the clasp is called deployant, not deployment. As for your problem this can be adjusted by bending the top or bottom part of the clasp. The bend must be ever so slight so the part that actually holds the clasp shut will be at a different angle. You may have to play with it a little to get the right fit.
