  3. Which movement is that one; I am thking on buying a 2893-2 GMT, what you have look to be a better solution. nice build congrats cheers

  6. so the eta movement will fit the asian 1655? Please I need to know ASAP so i can buy the mt movement.
  7. is the DG movement not sure what model, I wonder if he can source me just the case I do not want to buy another watch to finish otherwise I will have to ditch the project and let someone else deal with it.
  8. Thanks Andy. I guess is possible then to put a 2893 in a josh 1655 case that came with an asian movement? probably will need a new movement ring!
  9. Actually is not a bad idea. I will ask him and see what he has to say. what I am doing is turning his 1655 into a 1675, some guys have done that already here, there is no accurate base for a 1675 other than going from 1655 to 1675. I have a gen dial and the watch I purchased from Josh has an asian movement not very realiable but for 140 dollars what esle can I expect. If I use a true GMT movement the watch build will get close to $900 which is not that expensive considering that for $3000 i can get a decent Gen 1675. Ivan
  10. I hear you and that is why I ask, so not oll ETA have the stem in the same position, this new Josh 1655 it supposed to be made from a genuine and it can take gen parts. but I can not tell for sure. Thanks
  11. what about a 2893-2 real GMT this will also fit or should I be concern of the stem position? thanks
  12. I faded the insert. I think looks great.

  15. I was wondering if the 2893-2 or 2846-2 ETA modified GMT movement will 1655 josh's case that came with an Asian movement. any takers? Thanks
  16. I am with you bro, last night I was removing the 1655 gmt hand from the asian movement and the whole gmt wheel came off, I should order an ETA but I was going to switch the movement and try to use a gen date-wheel. here is dial before restoration this is after The Zigmeister's magic
  17. I sanded and now it fits, but I would to have a kind prefect fit where no sanding is need it. besides i cracked a little bit when on the side maybe i pushed too hard. by the way i have the dial back from The Zigmeister I am still waiting on the Mercedes hands and still need a GMT hand. any ideas. 23. Today I received that final piece to finish the conversion from 1655-1675 nevertheless is the most important one that makes the watch a 1675. is the wholesaleoutlet complete bezel assembly.
