  3. +1 here with the dial and hands
  4. I know some of the guys here have a zodiac 75B which is a gmt movement and the date-wheel turns the same direction as the genuine date-wheel
  5. @Ronin I think that is the problem I have with my 1665 the calendar retaining is not the correct one. sometimes the date is out of position. Where to get one Hmmmm by the way amazing watch you have.
  6. the Gen tube is not thread you need a bushing. to make it fit properly and keep it waterproof.
  7. Do you mind tell me the dealer. Thanks
  8. I will have to disagree with you on this. I have a UPO 45 bought it back in 2007, the only mods done are dial relume, gen crown, tube and the pearl, has been service twice taken up to 100 feet dive. I will tell you this puppy is 100% waterproof. I am not sure why would you want to change the HE valve I can't even tell the difference myself. all of the reps are pretty good at keeping water unless poor assembly otherwise it should be waterproof. my two cents
  9. @freddy333 Actually the pearl from ofrei is a perfect match. I used one of Helen's insert and I just pressed the pearl in very carefully no glue needed at all.
  10. I emailed you. let me know if you anything left
  11. If i want to use the same movement that came wit the 1655 I need to get a Chinese movement set of hands. bummer.
  12. does the ETA hand fits the Chinese movement. if not where do I get a set of hands. thanks
  13. Good Stuff Guys. Thanks a bunch for the info. maybe I can built a combo 1675 -16750 with the 1655 that I have.
  14. are these sapphire or Plexi?
  15. I did and the tube is too small, unless this is not really a GMT Crown. at least that was advertised in Ebay but who knows. and yes the crown looks kind of small in between the crown guards
  16. Does anybody knows if there is a transitional 1675 to 16750,??
  17. for that price I will fly there to pick the watch myself. ask him if wants to do local pick up
  18. So basically there is no way to fit a gen crown into one of these suckers. I guess retap only applies when the hole is too small. I will have to use the same crown that came with the watch. the bracelet is very light. I was thinking on using a rep 93150;
  19. I guess I could sent it to The The Zigmeister to get retap. Of course I need to ask him if he can do this.
  20. Hello, I started building on of these i have a 1655 from josh, already drilled the lug holes to take the standard roles fat spring bar. I have a couple of question for those that done this already. 1.- I need a complete bezel assembly (Does the wholesaleoutlet complete assembly will fit) 2.- I have a gen Vintage date wheel to use these i will have to get one of those zodiac movement 3.- model number for the oyster bracelet for these watch 4.- Tropic 116 does a Gen tropic fits 5.- How much do i need to shave off the case 6.- Dial recommendation if not gen used? I purchase a crown and a tube it looks like i need to retap de tube hole is kind of too big or do i have the wrong tube and crown? "> Thanks Cyb
  21. I saw a NOS pair in the Vintage forum,
  22. Let's race to the end ans see who finishes first. I was wondering if a Gen tropic will fit?
  23. they do accept genuine refill. but the issue is the quality. you can scratch the surface of the pen with a nail and get to the metal core easily. other pen are made with some kind of plastic resin and the coating should be thick to prevent scratches from showing the metal core.
  24. Thanks for the reply. I guess I need to try to know if it actually fits. the good news is not really expensive. Do you know if a 116 tropic will fit the 1655 case. I am collecting parts as you can see. Josh's 1655 will be here this week. Cheers
  25. Hi, I am looking for a mont blanc replica pen. I bought some back in 2007, they were o.k, but the quality was really bad. for example they were not made with resin. instead was some kind very think layer of some plastic material wrapped around that chips away easily. any good sources out there. thanks
