  3. Hi guys, When my pvd’d parts arrived from Rolli I found included in the package his PAM 002/009 dial for my review and I must share this with you because this dial is in one word spectacular!!!! Rolli (known for his extended knowledge on PAM’s and for his services like pvd coating) and FGD (known for his pre-v dials) have partnered up some time ago and together they are working on small series of OEM quality dials (with matching hand sets). About the dial; as you can see it's thick and made out of one piece; a special brass alloy (not your ordinary brass). The entire process to give the dial it’s spetacular color is pretty intense; the special brass alloy has been given a fine glass bead blasting followed by a galvanic bath. This is the only way to really create the various color shades like black, blue, champagne, silver and green when sunlight hits the dial. The indices (0.5mm deep) and printing are very well done, the lume (a beautifull burned out tritium color, superluminova A-grade rc tritec) is applied very evenly by the best machinery you can wish for! It has the beauty of the vintage tritium look (the color I believe is custom made for Rolli) and all the advantages of superluminova; it glows like a torch at night The hands also have superluminova A-grade lume (also made by rc tritec). Rolli and FGD have been working with top of the bill machinery and the result is a top of the bill, truly OEM quality dial which is unprecedented in our little community! For more information regarding these dials you can contact FGD http://www.rwgforum.net/user/5292-fishgodeep/ Enough talk Enjoy the pictures :)
  4. So this has taken me about 1,5 years to complete (perhaps even longer) but yesterday my Pvd coated parts returned from Rolli and i immediatly put everything together After having purchased Olreon's pre-a i noticed how beautifull Rolli's pvd coatings are (EU based) so I wanted his coating for my beloved 202/a. The procedure Rolli has worked out over the years is meticulous an the results are amazing! So here are some pics And with my 201/a: And the complete pre-vendome family: I'm happy it's finally on my wrist Cheers, Fitch
  5. thanks for your offer, were are you located? If you're in the EU i have two dials that need ETA positioned feet.
  6. any update on this? I'm still interested in the outcome of this project
  7. aw.. sorry; misread your first post; i thought you only meant gilt 1016 but you also meant in a gold case, as far as i know this never excisted (but it would look good )
  8. Jep, i believe so (but a good gilt dial will be expensive, even 'aftermarket')
  9. Great looking 1016!! Can you tell me what the source of the hands are?
  10. @panerai153 (or anybody else that could help me out); I might be able to source and older MBW so I can finally start building my 1680 and I will encounter the same problem with the dial opening of ~26.1 and the dial size of 26.5, could you please show my in a picture of the MBW case what the groove looks like and which parts I would have to mill to solve this problem? (if I understand correctly I do not have to thin the rehaut on the inside?) thanks very much in advance for your help!
  11. Yes! I'm sorry to see I missed out on this (been away for a while) but if possible I would like to purchase/order 5. 1680 red mk 3 (26.5mm) $180 6. 1665 drsd mk 2 (26.5mm) $180
  12. I would like to sign up for a 201/a and 202/a non matching dial Great work!!!!!
  13. no more distortion yeeeej!!! me happy
