  1. I'm sorry if this is too much of a noob question but I've read so many topics and posts regarding pre-v cases that I've seemed to lost track of the big picture If one were to make a 201/a or 202/a, would the following set be as accurate as possible with what's available? (and would the parts fit..) - getatwatch case (polished or pvd coated depending on the model) - FGD dial - LH cg - T crown - DSN caseback tnx for any input
  2. beautifull angelus merlin!! just beautifull.....
  3. Great review! Excellent photo's as well enjoy your sub
  4. functional is a good way to describe them I have tried it with a 2nd gen dirk and it allready looked a lot better still i must say that your strap looks really beautifull as well!
  5. If we can get the correct measurements from the case then it's actually not a bad idea, we have a great source for dials and crowns, if lh can make a new run of cg's then we're pretty much set. caseback would be somethings that has to be looked into. I don't know if the dsn is accurate enough if we're nitpicking The other parts should be easily available... perhaps something for a group-buy? It's not gonna be a cheap watch though....
  6. Definatly an improvement! I might just change my mind regarding selling this looker
  7. I've had the same thing happen, but the fees are lower (in my case 1% of the total amount) then normal and the seller doesn't have to pay anything so it's still very convenient.
  8. I will wear it with extreme amounts of pleasure and pride!
  9. I did!! And I feel sooooooooo lucky I never should have sold my first PVD'd pam with PAV99...... at least I get a very beautifull one back All that's left is sourcing the second best perfect strap.. I'm thinking 1st edition Dirk PVD (if I can find one that's reasonably priced...)
  10. That is one absolutely lovely pam4b!!! really very beautifull!!! you've got a very impressive collection of course the Ti is also very nice but I'm just a big pvd lover
  11. Really beautifull!!!!!!! I love your work FGD! Absolutely fantastic!!
  12. Does anybody have any idea how to get in touch with Opcrown? I've tried to reach him by sending a few pm's but he hasn't read/responded them although I see him checking in ones or twice everyday.... I would really appreciate it if anybody has his contact details (by pm) so I can contact him. Thanks!!
  13. Ai! that's not good news... I also hope that T can chim in, mine is waiting for me to pick it up at the post office and I was really looking forward to installing it
  14. Hi Guys, Sry to post a topic about this but I'm trying to reach Opcrown and he is not responding to his pm's so please Opcrown: check you pm box sr for any inconvenience!
  15. Nice design Alexi! here's my modest contribution (text can be adjusted )
  16. Since I've just returned to rwg after a break of nearly 3 years (and yes; I have a lot of catching up to do ) I am for sure not the expert here but it might be an early DSN? If I remember correctly the first a/o second batch of dials did not have as thick a font as the later versions had. The font in this dial (while beautifull) should be a bit more "crooked" to look more like the gen dial (or to look like the FGD dial that really matches the gen ) but again; i feel hardly like the expert so i will gladly stand corrected
  17. argh.. i feel silly; Siesta allready told me that it's a T48 customised to fit the 1.2 stem.. (how could i forget ) but it looks great! congratz!
  18. I hope you don't mind me asking but what strap do you have on your 28? It looks really nice! Also the crown does seem to look pretty good, is it the DSN crown..? tnx in advance for your reply
  19. I'm sry, I tried the search button but can someone please point me in the direction of the FGD dials? tnx
  20. Too bad the white dial is fantasy, the actual version has a silver dial and it is very beautifull... the black one looks good though
  21. it's a rare tropical red sub (but I'm sure you allready knew this I believe this is the colection of a dutch watchcolector who also has a shop and he specialises in vintage watches, although he recently produced a very nice series of DLC dipsy's PS. it's nice to be back on this side of the forum after an abscence of a few years, although I doubt that anybody missed me I;ve noticed that I have a LOT of catching up to do great to be back guys! fitch edit: if it's allready posted I apologise, but here is the link that I was refering to: http://www.singlereddeepsea.com/
