I was at the AD today, and was sad to notice how far off the Gen's blued hands and indices are from the rep. The Gen's blued metal is almost black, not the bright "Viagra" blue of these. I'm bummed because I wanted one badly, and the blue hands on all of the new portos are too obviously fake. Here in Hollywood, I would definitely get called out if I wore this rep.

OK, OK- enough already! You've sold me. I just ordered one from EL.

My criticism of Waits is based upon my belief that he has not changed his perspective, and has merely rehashed the same ideas over and over since those magic three albums Rain Dogs, Swordfishtrombones, and Frank's Wild Years. Those 3 albums (and all since) were co-written with his wife Kathleen Brennan, but now I think her influence is a negative thing.

As a lifelong fan, it pains me to admit that Tom Waits has not made a decent record in about 15 years, since Bone Machine. In regards to Dylan's new CD, any album that is sold at Starbucks has to suck.

Yes, the "Viagra Blue" hands are a far cry from genuine blued metal. I don't think I can stomach it. This looks better than the Radioactive Blue Cartier rep hands that are around, though. If this current price war keeps up, I might go for a panda.

Ive got an Orange Samaurai in TITANIUM. It is an incredible watch- I get more compliments on it than all my reps combined! When I got it last year, the best price I found for it was from chronograph.com (who has tons of Seikos!)

I almost bought this watch last year. The El Primero movements are supposed to be fabulous. It's nice- but I thought it was a little too busy / colorful. I got a Bell and Ross Pilot Sapphire instead.
