People who know me won't say anything because I have a few (not many) genuine watches. A couple of them have gone with me to the AD to get it serviced so they know it's the real deal and don't ask me about any others. They know I am crazy when it comes to watches! Either way, most won't know what a Panerai is... some don't even know Breitling. And one guy even said a genuine Omega was fake and he wouldnt pay more than $50 for it... but then this is a guy who doesn't wear watches, what does he know, he thinks every watch is fake! In my experience, most people have heard of R*l*x and Omega, anything more than that is a surprise.

The GMT functionality would still be wrong I imagine. It should have an adjustable hour hand and not GMT hand. That's what's put me off every true GMT (Omega, R*l*x etc) watches. The PAM GMT has an adjustable GMT hand just like the genuine, which is partly why I got it, although not much use when travelling.

I was looking for r*l*x reps and was searching on the net. replicacenter kept popping up on google searches but so did RWG1 and for whatever reason i trusted RWG1 more than the others. I read replicacenter and looked around their affiliated sites and was almost sold. At that point I would have bought just one rep and gotten out of getting reps. Especially at those prices. I looked around eBay and bought a few of their r*l*x reps, which were slightly more expensive than they should have been if I'd been registered on here at the time. Eventually, on a slow christmas day, I registered on here, read all day and order a yachtmaster from Precious Time which arrived the day after! That was my first "proper" rep. Since then it's gone downhill... 1 more r*l*x, a Breitling, IWC GST, Franck Muller and lots of PAMs.... I don't do things by halves

Will anyone be bringing watches? And how many? It would be great to see what people have and any prospective purchases I'm thinking maybe I'll wear the RXW Plasmir Milgraph... that's probably one that most won't have seen in person. I have an idea... I'll finish normal time as i play football on monday, then do 13-14 hours on tuesday to thursday.. then friday maybe i can get out at 6 or 7. That should get me somewhere between 56-60 hours for the week With the following week's bank holiday, that'll kill my money. Only problem I see is England play on Wednesday I think

Resuscitation of an older thread. Kruzer, what did you decide on? My 036 will be on it's way from silix sometime soon. I'm also thinking of getting a 176H sometime in the future. Less itchiness during the summer with a titanium watch. I hope it has a display back though.

If it IS the threads causing the problem, this is independent of movement and to do with the radiomir crown. Getting a Swiss ETA movement will not get you a better crown.

I think the problem is completely different, and the threads of the screw down crown are shot. This is a reported problem of the PAM183 and has happened to many people. You need to baby it or the threads go and it won't screw in any more. Davidsen is rumoured to have a possible fix for this, so you may want to do a search for this problem. This is also the reason I've stuck with Luminors and ignored the Radiomirs so far.

Lovely, I got mine from silix Please be aware there are very few flaws on this, and most people won't notice. The bezel screws are rumoured to fall off but I loctited mine so I have not experienced this. The case back says 300m instead of 3000m, but who's going to see? Great watch! As with many reps, bezel is a little loose, and the lume is not great.

3rd of June is a Saturday. Saturday or Sunday is ok with me cos I'm not working. Just football from 12-2pm on saturday. Friday, I'll probably be in the office from 9am anywhere up to 11pm

Does your white dial look correct? I think it should be a silvery white colour rather than a matte white.

Polished centre link on an oyster type bracelet is on the platinum rolesium yacht master and the stainless steel daytona. i think it's stainless steel and not white gold. the two tone ones would come with gold in the mid-link.
