  1. Silix have the same one for around $175 I don't think this was a big seller though. Everyone was waiting for the next version or (in my case) the titanium version!
  2. Make sure you do a review when you get it, these ones don't get seen around much.
  3. I think parts of the Asian 7750 for the hands can be swapped into the ETA 7750 movement as well, but ideally get the genuine hands so you have a 100% ETA movement
  4. I think you may have to get a watchmaker to look at that.
  5. Exactly, it's better for him to ignore this thread altogether until he decides he has something concrete
  6. I've had the Seawolf for around half a year now (I think), and was wearing it today, in fact! I also have a genuine Superocean...! (It's still boxed up) but what I remember is that the crystal really disappears. Same thing on my Omega SMP Chronos. It's pretty good on the Seawolf, and great for a rep but just a little off. Nothing to nitpick about though Now where can I find the old case Chrono Avenger in titanium ?
  7. Where can I get this version of the case?
  8. Great pictures! Anyone found any caseback pictures?
  9. Nice watch sssurfer! I like the white ceramic for the Chanel J12, it's just different and stands out more. There is also a version with a "diamond" bezel. The black version is cheaper. Dealers to ask are EL, joshua, silix and river. They all seem to have this or are able to get it, though all versions seem different. Silix also have joshua's version I think, but ask them first. There have been very recent threads on it so do a search.
  10. Would you get this more accurate 253 over the 212 if you had a choice now ?
  11. Dial looks better... a few more improvements ... the track with the tick marks should not extend all the way to the edge for one.
  12. Which dial colour did you get ? I prefer the look of the white dial, but it seemed like the black dial one was good?
  13. Breitling rep AR is nowhere near the quality of genuine AR.
  14. I'm surprised it's seen as entry level, as it has the same movement as the SMP chrono. Same dial layout. Blitz watches have them at around $1.8k and up after their discount...
  15. Has anyone retained their IWC Aquatimer 2000m rep? It was going around during April, but didn't seem to get very popular. Paul is now selling at $179, but is it any good, especially the white dial model. Here is the link to Paul's page: http://www.wo-mart.com/product_info.php?cP...roducts_id=1068
  16. Never happened yet, because I am usually the only watch nut around! Unless it's a RWG meet
  17. Yes Seiko's have a much more useful history than rip-off Invicta of US and A
  18. After I posted on someone's item for sale, I don't want to post this there as I don't want to ruin his sale of a very good watch. My thoughts are here. Breitling Chrono Avenger, titanium: There are 2 versions. The main differences between the current and out-of-production version (apparently due to lack of sales) is the pearl (looks bad on the current one, much better on the old one) and the 4 on the current model is closed but should be open like the old model bezel. The older one also had a Breitling B engraved on the side of the bezel (I believe), while the current model has it on the bezel face near the 12 o'clock point, from what I remember. I think both versions have sapphire crystal. The out-of-production version was made by the same people who did the good Avenger Seawolf. Seeing as titanium reps seem to be going out of production, don't let these minor flaws deter you if you really like it. The current version can also be had with ETA 7750 movement
  19. The other thing the genuine dial has that bothers me (and no one else it seems) are the bolder marks on the subdials at 60, 30 and 12. There isnt a huge difference so don't bother really... it's only for nutjobs like me and Puggy I'm going to get my dial installed once I can afford to get an ETA 7750 to put in there. Also, anyone know if the groove on the hands are there for the SuperLuminova? Has anyone tried filling it in ?
  20. Hmmmmm an American company ripping off designs and almost IPR violations? Whatever next? Is this the end times?
  21. I told ya you should have reserved the 194, now you gotta pay a lot more to get it.
  22. Correct! But the rest (AR, lume) will be a bonus
