The M1 is a beautiful Breitling, and unfortunately there aren't any convincing replica's of this mdel. If the picture you have attached was from a website selling it as a rep, don't buy it. That is a picture of a genuine, what you will receive will look nothing like that picture. The closest thing to an Avenger would be the Chrono Avenger, or something like a Skyland (one of the best replicas around at this time)

Have a read through the IWC guide (at the top of the IWC forum) that will answer most of your questions.

Very nice collection, the two Seiko's, the Speedy and the SMP are gen, not sure about the fifth, looks like Icebreg has identified the Rolex though!

Couldn't agree more Scoobs. I have dealt with Jakub before in the past, and he is no 'scammer'. To show this he posted here as soon as he could to let his customers know of his situation. If he intended to do a runner, he would not have bothered. You will see your watches back, I would put my left leg on that, you will just have to be patient.

Found it; http://www.watchsilix.com/

They are indeed, one of the best reps money can buy

Baked Potato (as Jeremy Clarkson so dearly called him - Plato) wears a Pam 140, Tiff wears the Old Navitimer (12,9,6), not sure about the others though.

Well...I suppose its better than them saying...'Here you are sir here is your knock off Omega'

I think the accuracy of this one (being better than the other ones you ahve posted) is porbably because the others are just pure fantasy. I would imagine that the makers just made the watch up as they went a long, whereas the closer rep of the Mulliner may have at least been based on pictures of some sort. Try Silix for the rep itself, I can't find the link to his other website, but there is one dedicated to the more affordable replica's.

CG's, crown, bezel knurls, tourbillon shape, subdials, subsial spacing, green lume, end links, and perhaps the ultimate tell...S/S finish. Advertised as 'Swiss' case...? Unfortunately this comes from the same factory as all the other 100USD Bentley's it really is a poor replica. If you're into accuracy, this isn't the one to buy, if you like the design, it might be worth a purchase, but for 150USD + shipping?!

I can't make my mind up. I see pics of your white one, and Laz's gen, and love it. Now you have posted the black version, and because it's fresh in my mind, I now prefer the black. It is the one watch I really wouldn't be able to choose a dial colour for! As soon as I see the white version again, Il prefer that haha. Beautiful shot btw!

I think this goes for all watches, but where and how you wear it will vary upon your only personal preference. I like to wear my watches with bracelets quite loose, but when on a strap I have it fairly tight (not tso it cuts off the circulation) but tight enough so it doesn't move too much. There is no real proper way to wear one, as it will vary between people and their own preferences.

Can you not type it directly into your browers bar? Not sure why it would redirect you to RG either!

The so called 5th gen had a very very slightly differently placed Omega logo, it was a fraction higher than on the 4th gen. I think that this was mere speculation, as I ordered a 4th gen and the logo was in the correct place anyway. I ordered my 4th gen from Paul, and had a very good experience. I have not ordered from him since, so I cannot give you a review of his services, but Paul's service used to be very good (years ago) and then his afterservice tailed off. I'm not sure if this is still the case or not though, it's probably best to have a look at the dealer reviews. But as far as the 4th/5th gen watches go, they are one and the same.

You have PM

Good spot. The aircraft of this generation are truly magnificent. We have an airshow really near to me, they always have the Lancaster Hurricane and Spitfire flyby, as well as the ME109/8 and P-51/40.

That's either a genuine, or heavily modded with gen dial, bezel and AR. Well they say that they come with genuine ETA, but a few people have received the asian clone. I don't know whether Eurotimez can get the 42mm 4th gen, but if he can I would go with him. If you think you can stretch to a 45mm, the UPO is a better replica in my opinion (but the 4th gen 42mm is very very good) I believe that most dealers sell this watch as it has been around for a long time, but the most obvious candidates would be Puretime (Angus) or Ruby, maybe even Josh or Andrew.

My opinion is that you can't polish a turd We are paying 500USD for a 17k watch. I believe that someone could spot a replica APROO just from the fit and finish but only if they have extensive experience with high end watches. I have not held the gneuine, but I can imagine it is very well finished. I went to the IWC AD the other day, and the detail is just fantastic in person, and that is on a watch for half the price of the APROO. On the other hand though, the average watch seller or Joe public would not know the difference. I think it would only be someone that worked with/owned an APROO for any length of time that could tell like your friend's friend did.

Puretime Submariner 16610 Black Ceramic - Only $1780!

All of his prices have gone up by a factor of a thusand. Think his website must be playing up....or there is some espionage and hacking going on Edit; just thought I should note the above remark is purely a joke and no rumours or association is meant by it -
To me it's the seconds hand that looks slightly too short

I think as long as it is done with; 1.)good intentions - i.e. to tease, or those that have no intention of ACTUALLY selling it. 2.) not with bog standard watches. I think most people go through phases of wanting to sell a Noobmariner, or a 4th gen PO. If this kind of post was restricted to those timepieces that have special qualities (ie all of your collection Ubi ) I think it would work. Sometimes when we are sitting on the fence with an amazing Franken, a taster post can sometimes remind us how unique it is. Obviously a taster post shouldn't be done for egotistic reasons, but if one is genuinely needing a push in either direction, such a post could be helpful to the potential seller, and also for the community to get their pennies ready!

The croc with deployment is slightly more expensive; http://www.puretimewatch.com/index.php?productID=49 -
The 4th gen is the best version, but that comes in at around 300USD
