  1. Nice review, as far as SMP's go this is one of the best I have seen
  2. Beautiful watch! The vintage Omega's are a great choice, you get a lot of watch for your money. ps this might be better if it were moved to the Omega area.
  3. Now that I am looking forward to seeing! The UN Big Date and the IWC Portuguese are two of my favourite watches. There are so many pictures of the IWC but not of the UN. They make some stunning watches!
  4. Beautiful pics as usual! Is that a rep strap on the black dial? I have one waiting at home for me, if it is going to look as good as that on a strap I cant wait for the weekend when I get home!
  5. It's marketing BS, you get an Ultimate, then you you get a Version 2, then a version 3........
  6. Yes bottom left is the genuine. If the one on bottom right is what we can expect next....all I can say is WOW!!!
  7. Beautiful shot Robbie, that UN.... Do you still own your big date?
  8. It's a shame us Europeans didn't get the chance to see this. Lani it might be because there are so many Skyland posts that there is little discussion here, due to it all being discussed many times before. I am very sure this board really appreciates the work you put in, would be good to see the pics...
  9. The case is different due to the different movements. Lume on the rep is usually in a green colour, and the datewheels generally in a red that is too light. They are a very very good replica thought, have the crystal AR'd and I doubt you'd know the difference at a glance
  10. I am finding it so difficult to narrow it down to 5 but I think this would be them for now; IWC 5001 UN Big Date; BP FF; Skyland; AL&S
  11. Robbie, stop posting pics of the UN, it's not good for my health I go weak at the knees
  12. Good to see you finally got it, and another fantastic review!
  13. Nice Ebel By-tor, was this the one you were torn on between the black and the white dials? I think you made the right choice, the white looks great! Well again for me it is the Skyland, having sold my SMP it is now my only watch
  14. Nice review Chronus! It's good to see you posting again, and it's also good to see you have finally got a Ti 194.
  15. Completely correct. They are pictures of genuine Breitling Bentleys. For 215USD I would imagine you wouldn't get the 7750 rep either, it will be the cheaper 21k Asian movement with faux chrono which you can get for around 100USD from this board.
  16. It would be impossible to objectively say that the SA is the best Breitling rep. In terms of accuracy it is certainly worthy of the title, but then so is the SOSF, Skyland and the BCE V3. I personally believe that the best Breitlings available to us (order isn't representative of accuracy); Super Avenger Skyland V2 SOSF BCE V3 Due to the quality of these four watches, they are all worthy of a position in your collection (forgot to add the SOH too....we really do have a great selection of Breitling now!)
  17. Looks great, wear it well! The genuine bracelets feel quite flimsy and cheap when compared to a sturdy Breitling or Omega bracelet, so don't let the flimsy bracelet put you off, it is a characterisitc of the genuine too.
  18. Stunnign watch, I prefer this over the black dial, on a brown strap I go weak at the knees
  19. I think this is a problem now though (nothing against your purchase I am sure you will enjoy it SQL). Due to the prices of reps being so high now, we have become somewhat blase about prices. Seeing a rep for 200USD we automatically think how well priced it is, however when you actually consider the movement and what you're getting it is alot of money to be laying down for a rep.
  20. Im not sure how hot. Just try using the hairdryer on it and then twisting it with your fingers which will loosen it, and then just slip a really tiny screwdriver in there to pry it off (it may bend it but it won't matter if you're getting a new one. I am not 100% sure, but I think the pearl being attached to the case was 'unique' to the UPO. If that doesn't work, then to remove the bezel itself, just use a credit card or a tiny screw driver to pry it off. Start on one side and gently oift it, then go to the other side with another tool and then it will pop off.
  21. To remove the insert you don't need to remove the bezel, it should just pop out. Try heating it with a hairdryer first as they're usually held on with glue.
  22. quote from Joshua's site; 'Made with a Genuine watch as Sample' quote from Andrew's site; 'Made with Genuine watch as sample' Jandrew say it is made with a genuine as an example, I was informed differently from a reliable source who I would trust over Jandrew. That's beside the point really, but if they didn't use the genuine as an example which I suspect they didn't, then there is no reason why the price would be so high for what is essentially a very cheap watch. 200USD is alot of money for a watch with this movement in my opinion. Before I get the response of 'well don't buy it' that ius not the point I am making here. It is purely that this isn't as much as a bargain as we think in my opinion.
