  1. One pleasant evening i was just on my laptop and i herd this crack, like a twig being snapped... Thought nothing off it as i couldn't locate the sound, then about 30mins later i check the time and find this on my newly purchased Planet Ocean 45mm..... Argh! Only had this Omega for about 3 weeks... Has this happened to you? If so did you find a replacement?
  2. Can't wait, sounds like fun! I'm sure some amazing photo's will come because of this!
  3. Good Job! More the better, keep this place running...
  4. Interesting read indeed, probably nothing we all didn't already know though. I would have to agree with Rolex replicas originally boosting the companies status as a household name, however I'm sure these days with rep's that are extremely close it probably doesn't do them any good...
  5. If you had a few days i would have advised buying a HP laptop from Misco.co.uk. Personally i hate PC World almost as much as i hate Dell. But short term PC World would do... If you only want internet for 1week, prob cheapest solution would be a pay as you go phone that you can used as a modem, as you wouldn't have a contract for 12monthss etc.... Good Luck and Enjoy your stay...
  6. I think my Tag Carrera goes well with a suit, and even more so if you are waring a white shirt (as the sub dials tie it all in together nicely then)
  7. Ha, don't get that convo going! There still Irish, not British as N.Ireland isn't British, its part of the UK not Britain...
  8. I got something similar from a US seller on eBay and i reacted the same way. It [censored] me off a wee bit, that people feel they have the right to convince me I'm not doing the right thing in my life. But then again how else could the "wonderful control system" we call organized religion exist.
  9. Awesome... reassures me that i made the right choice, thanks everyone for your nice comments. As promised, below are a few quick wrist snaps outside...
  10. It is pretty white but not extremely white as it is in the images. I'm pretty sure its close to the gen, see below image. If it is off its not close enough to tell without side by side comparison and as i doubt i'd ru Also to note the crown isn't very shiny in these pic's of a gen, unlike mine...
  11. Ah... I never noticed that, thanks! In that case DSN has got extremely close!
  12. Well I'm not a huge Panerai fan to be honest, but when i saw the PAM292 Black Seal I changed my mind. The main thing that put me off buying a rep of this model was the poor shiny PVD finish the majority of all dealers had, so when DSN released his version i jumped on it quick. Also to note DSN was pretty helpful when i was purchasing, always quick to respond and i can't complain about his product at all, best 292 rep yet. Below is what is listed by DSN -45mm RADIOMIR STEEL CASE WITH PVD PLATING(NON CERAMIC) - Well this is a fantastic finish very matte and looks by far the best so far. -SAPPHIRE WITH AR - Does indeed have AR, but its very typical rep AR -ASIAN 6497 WINDING MOVT - No problems as of yet and don't expect any. -SCREWED DOWN PVD PLATED STEEL CROWN - The PVD is shiny, doesn't quite match rest of the case (only fault i can find) -WHITE C1 LUMED DIAL AND HANDS SUPERLUMED - The lume is of an impressive strength but doesn't last long at all, compared with rep lume of a Bruguet Type XX its put to shame. -PVD SOLID CLOSE CASE BACK - No faults here -26X22MM BLACK OR BROWN LEATHER STRAP WITH PVD BUCKLE - Personally I didn't like either of these straps but the Buckles are great, PVD match's case. -3ATM WR TESTED - Haven't tried this out, I'll just be taking his word on this... -MOVT REGULATED - Watch is keeping very good time... Due to me not liking the strap that came with this watch, i jumped on Zack (RED12) to make me a custom strap from his "Tan-orange Copperhead" leather in 26/22. Zack's service is great and I'd highly recommend him to anybody, even finished it quikcer than he quoted! I think this compliments the PVD well, but I'll let you be your own judge. Now for the pics! If anybody wants HR images of any part of the watch just give me a PM and I'd be happy to help... Questions & comments welcome
  13. I have access to UK and Rep Ireland companies... don't know if that's any use to you?
  14. I buy rep's based on my personal taste, however what i can reasonably pull off does come into it. Imo my daily wearer needs to be something i could have gone and purchased from a AD last weekend, however that doesn't mean i wouldn't wear something out of my price range if there was an appropriate time to ware it. What I've come to notice is 95% of occasions I can wear what i want, as nobody in my current circle of acquaintances has enough knowledge of watches to call me out or even appreciate the piece.
  15. British 2p... Anyway, they look very large, solid and weighty... How much do they weigh each? I've never considered getting bespoke cuff links - nice idea!
  16. for instance, two of any of these would work... obviously you could pick up some rep rolex/omega etc bracelets too...
  17. Easy you can attach one link from each end that has accessible screws to the watch ends... Just need to find bracelets that have enough assessable screw links.... Still doable.
  18. If you can find a the right bracelet there's no reason why this wouldn't work. Just have to ensure you find one that stays the same width around the whole length. Could be pretty cool!
  19. Personally, the Rolex. Purely because I don't like the look of it and its to old "manish" <-- that's not bad thing if your over 30.
  20. ha this is so funny, both parts made me laugh out loud.... what a tool
  21. I almost started one of these as I am par norm and ware my watch on my right hand, even though I'm right handed. Am interested to see figures as I never see anybody waring a watch on their right.
  22. Get a laptop at your counter... surely there are ups and downs during your business day? And if your spending that time moving stock about hire some hot young girl to do that for you.
  23. I'm for the PO, but 42mm version... Good review i agree - seems very fair headed.
