stupid thing about this watch is you still have to take your "emotional control unit" (as in a metal-case-with-a-bit-of-crystal-on-the-end styled key) and stick it in the dashboard to start the thing, the watch wont even start the car! waste of money imo, if your going to do it do it right!

Well compared to my Carrera rep strap its def a lot dif... The engraving on the clasp is a different font, even tho it does look a bit rough. I would advise that you should look at the spaces between the links, can be an obvious tell. Also how well the clasp clips together, my rep one isn't perfect at all... Difficult to tell from pictures.

I utterly agree... And with regard to our work force being drug free, that's not the issue. If you earn money you deserve the right to spend it on whatever you want... However if your living off benefits you shouldn't have the right to squander it away on drugs. Least not in my books.

personally i think my Tag Carrera looks pretty good with a suit... along with any other occasion! Its a 42mm, but there are lots of nice IWC's that are very smart...

Very interesting topic. I don't agree that the Swiss manufactures will die out. For one thing there will always be the status symbol effect that a Casio cannot replicate without spending hundreds of millions in advertising and another 100years of watch making. What i do think will happen is the cooperation of digital elements to elegant mechanical time pieces. The saying "if you can't beat them join them" expresses my prediction perfectly. I for one am excited about the possible advances in the watch making industry, from solar energy faces to digital displays emulating analog (such as is in Merc S-Class) End of the day who knows but nothings going to change over night!

I'm another Student, slight difference is i work part time during term and full time when I'm off. Not only does this mean i earn the money i use for [censored] such as reps it also means i know i'd have to work 25hours to own a UPO for instance. Its def to do with a certain amount of immaturity toward money and spending, I've worked from a young age and and had to fund major things like my first car etc. So you have a real value on items you spend with your OWN money. Loans are evil. That's all easily said i know, but with regard to the addiction. Instead of thinking "I'll not buy it", think "I'll buy it in 1 month". Thing is, a lot of it is impulse and once u have a month to consider it and have a proper think before you get it... You'll prob find you change you'll change your mind again in that month, and so on until you find one you REALLY want! Hope this helps... p.s. A slightly less serious version of marriage is getting into a serious relationship with a girlfriend, i spend to much money on mine lol. p.s.s. 7 Reps! That's insane!
