  5. TT has closed the auction of Pamerai parts on my request. I will be away untill monday evening late, so probably set up new auctions for smaller lots on tuesday. If anyone could help with price estimates so i can set a fair reserve price that would be more than welcome. Keep an eye on the Fundraising Auction area early next week!! The new auctions will have a running time of 2 or 3 days !!! All the parts will be sold only in the auction, so please no PM's or emails asking me to break this promise. Every gets a chance in the auction And like the other auctions, 10% will go to support RWG !
  6. Hi guys, I'm getting quite some questions if i don't want to sell some parts seperately. I could ask TT if it's cool to delete this auction and start it over with smaller lots. But i have no clue what price to ask for most parts. I just noticed V crownguards go for around $300... but the other parts... Could you please help me with an indication of prices i could use as reserve price. I would prefer to make smaller lots and not sell everything seperately... suggestions are welcome!!! Here is the list of parts... - the famous V crownguard - new, never installed - rep crown + screws - came from my old Eddie Lee PAM 1 b - 4 crowns from Markus or Palpatine, 2 for unitas and 2 for valjoux/eta automatic - 2.1mm - unkown rep crown - 2.0mm - 1 old rep crown + stem + o-ring for manual wind if i remember correct... - 1.9mm - 2 crowns + stem for ETA/Valjoux - forgot who made these, but a forum member produced these - 1.9mm - 1 lens - made by a forum member... and again i forgot who made this one... - 2 stems for ETA automatics - and now the real bonus... a panerai chronometer certificate + warranty card... the cheapest rep style possible

  10. Where are all the photos??? Well let me play than This photo contest is an excellent idea, Lanikai. Now i'm no pro, not by far, but i just happen to get a nice D-SLR from a friend, his old one he never used but to me it's more than great. I even invested in a real macro lens. I took this photo as a quick snapshot with a Olympus D-SLR fitted with 35mm macro lens. No extra lighting or what soever, just a bit cloudy weather, adjust the white balance, point and shoot. Oh yeah... and the aperture set to F 3,5 so only part of the dial is in focus and the rest gets a bit blurry.
  11. @ Projectologist... beautiful PAM 1b. Now i see this photo i realise how much i mis mine @ Stephane... that Tudor is absolutely lovely!! @ Laz... dude... your collection is getting insane! Hope to see you in Brussels @ Lanikai... great photos of a great chronograph. I assume it has been with uncle Ziggy? @ Andel3000... nice PAM111 pvd and the PAM203 als looks great! Nice photos. @ Frank... nice vintage diver, bro! Me likey
  12. Nice PAM88, Scoobs !! Here's my IWC 3714... i was playing with the camera... this is shot with F 3.5
  13. Congrats my friend!!!!! Both on your new baby and on spamming us to death
  14. thanx Scoobs Let's see how it works out, but i'm afraid the gen might hit hard on the budget...
  15. Thanx mate... only not sure how long it can stay as i have a gen purchase planned that might need extra funding... We'll see...
  16. Thanx guys @Concepta ... that's a secret @Sander ... it's a Maurice LaCroix strap + deployant i had and this looked much better than the rep strap of course @Toadtorrent en Deltatahoe ... the genuine central seconds hand (for swiss 7750) doesn't fit the canon pin of the asian 7750, so this had to be changed. Apperently the small hands did fit.
  17. Hi guys, The IWC Portuguese Chronograph with genuine IWC dial and hands has arrived. I want to thank Domenico for installing the parts. It took him some extra screws to close the caseback again, because the caseback was actually fixed with glue and the screws where dull. He also had to use some different gears for the center chrono hands, so all in all a good job from Domenico! Oh yeah... and the movement of course had a graphite treatment The IWC 3714 is of early serial number, so i won't do an extra AR coating... this would be wrong for this watch. It has the old crown with fish logo. I also have an old genuine IWC box to make it complete Here are a few photos...
  18. And with a graphite treatment the movement is much more reliable, so worth the investment IMHO. Personally i also think that the titanium Ingenieur wears much more comfortable than the steel version. Good luck selling the dial
  19. Thanx guys... really looking forward to the moment this beauty arrives! If the serial number requires a crown upgrade and AR coating than this will be done of course. If it's here i will make some nice photos
  20. Caseback needs to be brushed but i think there's a tutorial here somewhere...
  21. WOW... i completely forgot about this thread... but i would still love a good Mark XVI
  22. I still have a gen dial for this model in steel, but that was priced higher than this rep
  23. For this model: time = gold chrono = blue
