I guess the pixx Rolli shows of the current series PAM88 do have the V-CG, not brushed, but pollished.

And the D series has "L SWISS MADE L" where the newer J series has "L SWISS 12 MADE L" with the 12 in between... (at 6 position)

Well... a lot of info in this thread, but i still have no clue where i can get a nice pre-V case... The $40,- of Ebay looks like crap, it's being sold by someone named Alpha-something and this is probably the seller of Alpha watches... cheap asian knock-offs with their own name on the dial. Sooooo... if anyone can help me any further, i would really appreciate it!

I'm curious if the new case will be really improved.... but i'm sceptical. I know my old one is still the best, especially after Ziggy reworked the crowngaurds!! And being an old closed factory case, the He valve position is perfect. I even installed an original Omega SMP crystal

Indeed, the El Primero would look pretty smooth... Girard Perregaux also made several 36000 beats movement and probably several other high end brands have one or two high beat movements as well.

Let me not read all the posts that might be insulting. I can asure all of you 1 thing... the election of Barack Obama makes the whole world happy!
