  1. Hmmm, I dont understand. Are you sure its a guy ??? This picture really looks like a lady: Ive seen some good work, but this is pretty strange. Or as they would say on this forum...an almost perfect rep. Regardless please give my compliments to your friend...
  2. I received a Toy Piano and the lid is a bit of center and the paint has a smudge - can I send it back for an exchange...
  3. Having good buyers is just as important as us having good sellers. Some vendors will probably agree that there is a small minority of buyers who, in the end, are not worth selling to...
  4. The Zeno is very nice. The Doxa is also too expensive for me to justify especially as just a casual watch. I like the Seiko Orange Monster, but the shade of orange isnt close enough to the Doxa for me, so I prefer the black. But Id get the Orange Monster (super value) if it was just a bit darker and richer orange like the Doxa...
  5. Yep I love that orange Doxa - its such a classic, and a perfect summer watch...
  6. I can attest to Mr Eddie Lee, he is the best. I have an TW Classic Sub on order and will post pics and do a little review once it arrives to me. But for MBW, I agree
  7. Same thing happened to me, at first I thought Id just keep the watch rather then go through the hassle again...not a good idea, if you dont get exactly what you ordered always just send it back...
  8. Yep, Id really love to see a vintage SM 300 just like that one...shouldnt be that difficult to make either.
  9. Very nice looking watch - good job!
  10. And Ive heard that wearing a tt black Rolex Sub gets the ladies too
  11. Hmmm, maybe youre right its a division or group and not the guys name. But I think that the rough engraving is supposed to indicate that it was personally etched by the soldier himself on his issued watch, like a commemoration of sorts. Youd think that officially issused watches must have had neater engravings on them...done with a proper machine...
  12. The guy sounds like a real [censored]. Being called out is one thing, but being called out by someone like that must have been 10 times worse... Thats really classic btw, how he knew it was a fake by the "crooked lettering" - wtf ? - and it wasnt even crooked ? You were too nice to the guy, imo. Recommend him one of those rep stores you get in your spam box. I like the Swiss Fake versus Italian fake, that must have made you really roll your eyes
  13. Looks like its the guys name, then something like Swim Camp, (ie, the equivalent of "Navy Seal School", etc) and finally the date. Pretty cool, kind of like the Vietnam era Zippos (also faked a lot too...) which soldiers had engraved while serving overseas.
  14. Hi Art, Im not an expert, but having gone through the same questions as you: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...p;hl=tw+classic From Craytonic best - less rehaut, correct hollow bracelet, etched crown (correct), no lug holes classic - great rehaut, incorrect sollid bracelet, no etched crown (correct), lug holes And my own answers, TW means its from Taiwan (supposedly), Best means its the top grade of Rolex rep offered, and "Classic" means its the previous of Submariner, with drilled lug holes. "Modern" means the rep is modeled after the current Rolex Sub style - Im not up on serial prefixes so I dont know when exactly the case lost its lug holes...maybe 4 years ago ? Edit - to answer your question, both the Classic and the Best feature saphire.
  15. Wow, thats good to hear, I have one on order from Eddie Lee and am expecting it soon I researched, asked a few people here (thank you!) and after a day or so of thinking went with the TW Best Classic. Next thing is to try to find a nice Panerai, but Im afraid to start looking for one, with all the time and effort I put into picking out my Sub Id need a few more weeks to look for a good 111H or one of the other 10,000 Panerai models out there... But yeah to the original poster I went with the TW Classic from Eddie Lee. If I felt like spending $100 more I would have gone with the MBW. $70 less, and Id have gone with the Andrew Trusty Watch Guy sub...
  16. Very nice shot, and more importantly, very nice watch My next rep is going to have to be a Panerai. So far I think the model 111H like yours is on my very short list of models.
  17. Hi guys, I have a TW Best Classic from Mr Eddie Lee on order. When I get it, I plan on taking some pics, etc. Maybe to help if someone wants a comparison shot with the same angles or something as some other reps - to use as a reference. Because on this and a few other forums I couldnt find that many TW Best Classic pics...
  18. Very nice watch - those are pretty tall watches, arent they - something like 20mm in height... Only little thing I can spot is the placement of the Breitling wings and text; on the rep its too high and left of the date wheel. Just a minor thing though. And the rep lume dots are kind of smaller. How do you find the Ti , ie is it easy to pick up scratches - some Ti is coated or has something done to it to make it a bit harder.
  19. Id spend a bit more and get him the Seiko Orange Monster. Even say its a Summer/Birthday/Christmas/Mow-the-lawn-all-summer gift Because its a watch thats going to last a really line time, he can keep it all through out grade school and highschool. Those 7s26 movts are super durable... Check out Ebay you can get an Orange Monster for 100 USD usually $15 for shipping. If you get lucky you can find one on Stainless for that price.
  20. Wow, thats really amazing... I didnt think you could buy Rolex parts alone like that - I know Rolex is really tight with their part distribution. Even more so these days. I suppose Rolex Daytonas in SS go for about 10,000 USD now - you have a really superlative watch!
  21. So Im just about ready to pull the trigger on a TW Classic Sub from Mr Eddie Lee. Then I realized there is also a TW Best model too ? What is the difference, between the Best and the Classic ? Ive looked around and feel that this sub and dealer are top-notch, but Id like to hear some final last minute comments ...Ive heard about the possible faint dial, I guess thats okay to me. Many thanks. JB Picture - Mr. Eddie Lee TW Classic:
  22. Wow, very nice watch: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=6212 After I decide on which Rolex Sub to get, my next watch is one of these
  23. Thanks purspeed. The TW Classic Sub has flown under my radar, This looks like a great sub, its now on my short list...
  24. Thanks, I will check them out. I couldnt really find a webpage for Mr Eddie Lee - Does he have one ? Other than the PhotoShow.Net site ? I did look at the Eddie Lee Sub on the Sales Corner here (http://www.replicacollector.com/members/index.php?showtopic=19466) but the font looked pretty thick so I took it off my list (- must have been just a bad pic.) However I will look into this model more now, thanks. And does Luckyyy sell Modern Subs ? I thought that his well regarded specialty was for vintage models of SDs... but from all I read his watches are always rated very well. Best regards!
