  1. +1 on the strap suggestion and choice. Looks awesome!
  2. Cool! You forgot to include the "before" shot.
  3. A genuine Franken-Fantasy. Looks great. Nice job!
  4. Hey Red. The insert is the next thing I think I'll do. I'm kind of on the fence about the lugholes so far for the reason you stated, and also because this case/watch would be hard to replace if I screwed it up - not to mention a little costly Thanks simon. I didn't show it, but Seafoam had it re-lumed by Vac when he owned it and it's awesome. Thanks Teejay. I'm not ready to try any accelerated vintagizing yet, but I wear it so often it will get vintagized naturally. What model is yours? I really like the vintage dial and the no crown guard look. Hey B. This one is thin but (to me) not flimsy or tinny at all. It has a nice quality feel to it. Only the open end links are a little weak. I accidently twisted one a little bit by not doing much of anything. Some of the links are just a tiny bit stiff, and I'm going to fix that with some oil or bike chain lube treatment. I got it from member JMB - great guy to deal with and he does alot of his own builds. Really nice work. Maybe you've seen him and his Tudors here. Thanks Krpster. I think that's what caught my eye. Thanks High. You're right, the end link fit isn't perfect. The gaps are there but are actually pretty small and hard to notice unless you're zoomed way in in macro mode. The alignment and flushness I think I can sort out with a little tweaking and bending. is BK still selling these? what Simon says..... They're long gone. You just have to get very lucky in the sales section
  5. BK Transformer w/ new riveted bracelet acquired from JMB...
  6. I recently got a nice riveted bracelet from JMB and was planning on using it on an Explorer. But I got the idea it might work with my Bk Transformer. I think it looks pretty good even though its not "correct" for this model. What does everyone think, good or bad? I was also thinking I should add some lugholes and a gen insert. Here are some pics. 7. Here's an example in the sales forum of a really nice Sub from a well respected dealer here and offered by an established member. Well worth the price. http://www.rwgforum....post__p__919206
  8. I love that one Seafoam. Even though it meant giving up your BK Transformer and others, I think it was worth it.
  9. Great looking Tag seafoam. Good acquisition. Just about ready for Xmas here. Got the ornaments on the tree...
  10. Very Nice mjmj. Can I have that when you're through with it? I'm with BT today...
  11. Great info here. Does the gen insert snap in or do you have to glue it?
  12. Very rare! The mythical BK Explorer Milgauss....
  13. + 1 on the Moonwatch. Always a great choice. Another, I think is the Ball Ionosphere.... http://www.watchconcepts.com/wc/ball/cm1090c-ljbkbe.htm
  14. Happy Forum Birthday Sixx. You are one of the people here who make it worth hanging out. ww
  15. O.T. Hey, we should be using the new super-duper off-topic feature for these. I wonder, will it work w/ photos? (I can't do anything w/ photos where I am right now)
  16. since it's close to being perfect...... the POtential
  17. +99% of what Freddy stated, except you're gonna need 2-4 GB of memory to run Windows 7 efficiently.
  18. Man! This is like waiting to see who wins an eBay auction...
  19. I agree 100%. That's why I have a bunch of his best shots in my watch photo folder. His style works very nicely for desktop wallpapers.
  20. I'm not a PAM expert either, but that one looks real good to me. Has anyone else noticed how the quality of QC photos have improved in the last few months? What dealer is this from?
  21. Wow! Great photos again All your base.....
  22. Thanks to LHOOQ for lending me his outstanding photo. I just had to make a wallpaper out of it. 1680x1050 res. Enjoy
