Im sorry TM...I didn't read your entire post. My mistake. No surprise about the refund from Andrew. Like I said "Andrew Is one of the best dealers around". Many dealers would have wanted you to choose another rep Instead of offering you a full refund. Thats why we strongly suggest that new members don't buy there reps from anyone but the dealers you see here. Some might be tempted by a lower price...but if things don't go well you will have little recourse. Here at RWG you have members/staff/admin that have many years of experence. So It's best to stick with the dealers here. Again.. like stated above...qc pictures are a fairly new concept. Not long ago you got what you got and that was It. if it was the wrong watch you would have to send it back to China..a big pita..or keep it. Overall It looks like things worked out well. Mike

I really see no issue with the Pam for reasons stated above. But there are no excuses for the Hublot. You were shown one watch and sent something completely different. This Is on Andrew...not you TM. That being said...Andrew is one of the best dealers around. I have orderd several watches from Andrew....never a problem. I would contact him asap and let him know about the [censored] up mix up. Im late to the Rolex party so Im not really up to speed on them like so many others here. I do like the GMT's and hope to pick up a coke bezel one day. I've always been leery when It comes to coated watches. I have read that some of the pvd/dlc coatings are pretty good from the rep factories. But this is just what I have heard....don't know how true It is. I do have to admit that I really like the looks of this Pro-Hunter. But I know so little about them. Thoughts/opinions anyone? Thanks for the Input guys.....the more eyes the better. Imho poor fit and finish speak volumes about a rep...or any watch actually. So far from what I can see the SW has very good FF. Solid and tight fitting sel....etc. Im not saying as good as gen....what rep Is? but very good none the less. When I got my Super Avenger one of the first things I did was work the bezel with a Scotch Brite Pad. It gave the bezel a over all cleaner look and what seemd to be a nicer brushed sheen. As far as the 6&9 go... It sure looks close Imo. Like you said R...wont be noticeable In everyday wear. People In the real world don't seem look at watches the way we do. Mike

Not sure about the Individual serial number...I'll see what i find out. As far as the rep WR claims....I really dont pay much attention to them. Also 30m Is a much more realistic WR rating than 100m. I believe 30m Is around 100 ft.....should be ok for swimming. But I dont take my reps Into the water unless I have the case back and crown checked for the appropriate seals. I usually use my Seiko Monster or one of my cheep quartz beaters for the pool or beach. Mike

Im sure Coney Island smells very good. I have to admit that Bond does have a odd marketing stategie. I have read that they try to capture the essenceof the city/urban senses. "New Harlem"? "Brooklyn"? Can't say as I really want to smell like those places. . I just picked up a sample of Chez Bond at Nordstroms.....very nice. Mike

Yes R I have compared the gen to this new rep SW....and It stacks up quite nicely Imo. The only little flaw I can see is the lume dots on the gen are flat. Where as the reps are not quite flat but a bit thicker. It's not a easy thing to see really and dosen't bother me In the least. I actually prefer the reps lume dots to the gens. This new SW looks like It has a better bezel than the v1. Thicker and deeper engravings. Much much better than the SF bezel. The new dial also has thicker numbers like the gen. The v1 was already a very good rep as you know....this new one kicks It up a few notches. The c1 super lume playing a big part. I dont have It on my wrist yet.. but from what I can see so far....a very good effort from the H factory. Here are a few more realistic qc pics. Gen at the bottom for reference.
