  1. Sorry, not feeling the orange handed MAXI-DIAL, MAXI-HAND Explorer II. I don't think the proportions are correct. The orange flared arrow is out of place on the otherwise modern design. The new EXP II is something I would expect from a Japanese company like Seiko or Citizen. Just say no to Maxi... With luck, it will drive the value up of my beauty: IMHO, slim hands, and modest sized markers makes this look more like sports car instead of a SUV. Long, sleek and sexy. Bezel markers/numbers are now too small in relation to the maxification. Stout, clumsy, confused. At least these beefy hands work. Rolex should consider moving away from oversized Mercedes hands and start clean if they want maxi. (Just my opinion) YMMV
  2. Well done. I am begining to believe this is the only Sub anyone needs.
  3. I know a couple of us members here are on the "Order List" for one of these. I am in the General Order batch as is Panerai153 IIRC. Can't wait to get mine.
  4. @F333 - Looks like no going back to "Yesterday"
  5. I like it. Reminds me of something you would get if a Ulysses Nardin and Seiko Monster got together and had a kid... [edit to add] what background / surface did you shoot those photos on?
  6. Reminds me more of this Omega than a Rolex. Pic stolen from internet, I believe from a scam site... ^ ^ ^
  7. 3+ years old. There may be some issues fitting your movement to the case. Vlydog and Ziggy kicked a "modern" Yuki to the curb do to fitment problems. Although, July may be yet another newer/fixed version. You should be able to tell by the crown/tube area. Was your tube glued in originally, and/or does your new tube go in with ease and is correctly aligned? To clarify, the bad batch of Yuki's seemed to have a tube/crown position that was too low. Good Position w/703 tube:
  8. Excellent project. We may have twins, or at least cousins when you get it all assembled. Out of curiosity, how old is your Yuki case?
  9. Nice collection. That 1655 looks great with that strap combo...
  10. I am a huge fan of these machines. Although I have warmed up to the new iPad2, I still think this is the superior mobile computing platform.
  11. If you use Imageshack, or Imgur "no user registration" is required. There is no way to easily link you back. If you want to "add" credibility at the Gen sites for Gen sales, set-up an actual Photobucket (be sure to keep it all Gen, and throw in album with some kids photos-- LOL). PP should not be an issue at all unless your PP is somehow associated with your username on the rep side. If you have made it as far as PP with the person, I think you are fine. Finally, if you don't deal with Gen's & Re-sale, then this is moot I suppose.
  12. Very nice. I still need to add a Sharkhunter to my family....
  13. did I miss the breakdown of what parts were used elsewhere?
  14. Interesting. My wife wears a "GEN" SuperOcean Heritage 38mm on 'mesh bracelet'. The above watch looks ok...
  15. I maintain separate identities on Gen forums. I even avoid using the same photos whenever I can. Also, sadly, no "Girls with Swords".... My main reason for doing this is: Should I decide to sell one of my many GENs on said forums, I don't want to be reported/referenced back to "that guy on the rep forums", casting doubt on my credibility as a seller.
