Super Avenger is next to impossible to find.
bwhitesox replied to 894tom's topic in The Breitling Area
Ruby probably sells the best one to date but it's not a fantastic rep if you want it as gen as possible..Like we all do. Faults are the hands are too short, The bezel has a closed 4 and bad pearl, Strap is cheap junk, Slow Asisn 7750 movement and the crystal is non Ar coated rubbish.. So whats good about it...The Case.!! Throw all of the above away and get a gen bezel from the bay for around $100, Get a ETA 7750 and reuse the hands (gen hands are too expensive), Grab a Lello Breitling Datewheel, Grab a gen dial from discoverry110, Get a gen strap from AD and last but not least send the Crystal to K2222 to get AR coated. Then you will have my frankenwatch which should be ready for photos within the month. For a modest outlay this average watch can turn into a showstopper....Stay tuned.!! -
Hi Offshore, Please put me down for the timezone 1+2 courses.

The photo is of my Original 6000 series watch which I have had for a number of years. My question is do you think there is a market for this watch if I put it up for sale or trade here.?

Awesome, Thanks Dude.

Freddy333 I have to say that you are a fantastic source for all things Rolex...Just been reading up on the 6263 and thinking of taking the plunge.

Genuine Breitling SFSO datewheel
bwhitesox replied to The Red Baron's topic in Watch Repair & Upgrade
Would be pretty easy to do but I would only trust with a watchmaker as I wouldn't want to stuff this nice watch up. PM Lello for the datewheels. -
jmt, You can either remove the crystal yourself or send k2222 the whole watch and he will remove the crystal for you. It's all stated above in his first post.

Unknown ETA 2824 Movement - More info gathered.

TTK I don't think Bravoz was 'laying down the law' but has a valid point with what he said. Seems like a conflict of interest for you to be posting here...Perhaps leave it up to the Forum members and The Zigmeister to reach a conclusion without your usual spin and defamation. -
Unknown ETA 2824 Movement - More info gathered.
bwhitesox replied to RWG Technical's topic in General Discussion
Yea but the asian ETA copy doesn't have the ETA markings right...The only reason to put the ETA markings on this movement is to pass it off as a real swiss ETA and therfore charge people Swiss ETA prices. I think we'll find that we already have watches with this movement in them and sold as swiss. In fact I know this is the case. -
Unknown ETA 2824 Movement - More info gathered.

Of course this is to fool us into paying more money...Why else would they do this? -
Finally, it had to happen...I have an Unknown ETA movement
bwhitesox replied to RWG Technical's topic in General Discussion
Looking forward to this pictorial as well...I was told by a dealer that this asian movement was being used in a Breitling watch sold as swiss ETA. Not elaborating on that suffice to say it wouldn't take too much to work out which Breitling. -
And what tops the whole experience off is that K2222 is such a good guy to deal with...Very honest, straightup and reliable....oh and the AR coating is just amazing!!
-
Are we sure they are the same watch...Just curious.?
-
Beautiful watch mate...stunning.!
-
Guys can someone who gets one of these please do a movement review. I'm sure lots of people would like to know why this 'smaller' dealer can offer these at a substantially cheaper rate than our larger dealers.
-
Please put me down for two of these when ready. p.s - They look fantastic.

SS Breitling Seawolf with good case and helium valve
bwhitesox replied to ajoesmith's topic in The Breitling Area
YEa I got one of these beasts...Probably one of my favourite watches to be honest. Pretty good AR, Swiss movement and nice dial and case. -
I may miss this one unfortunately but I have three crystals that I will need Double coated. Any chance of having a third AR run at some stage.??

Where Can I Get Gen. Breitling Rubber Strap?

Anywhere in Asia a rolex is the norm..Fake or real.

I'm a little angry right now at a couple of people talking negativly about this watch to perspective buyers and possibly wrecking Rubys group buy...This is pretty poor form. Surely there is some etiqutte between dealers... Anyway my final review:- 1:-The subdials do have the pie pans that the original does The original of this model of navitimer does have very slight raised "pie pans" and Rubys version is exactly the same as the original Watch..It is just hard to capture in the photos. Some other versions of the gen Navitimer have slightly larger "pie pans" but this version is 100% accurate. 2:- The bracelet has some screws on one side and some on the other. Easy fix, Just remove the screws, slide out the bracelet Link and change it around so the screws all face the same way like the gen. 3:- The watch does have the newer 7750 movement. OK I can finally end speculation about this. I took my watch down to my trusty watchmaker and paid to have the beat of the watch tested. Conclusion....THis model which I received from Ruby does indeed have the higher beating 7750 movement. 4:- The date window is still not correct. Yip still an issue but the date has never been correct on any version of this watch so this is something that you live with as it is the only fault on the whole watch Guys, Ruby is a great dealer and I trust her 100%..She has excellent communication when ordering and follows up asking how the watches are and making sure you're happy with the quality etc. If the watch is somehow faulty or fails sometime after owning then Ruby will replace. The price she is offering is an absolute bargain as it is easily the best Navi on the market at the moment...Here in Australia the gen goes for $7700 Aussie dollars so quite the saving
