  1. Robert from PWC seems to get equally good shipping times - 4 days including a weekend has been heard of!

Interesting pics I've used a 940 filter (I think?) and you get black skies
  3. Generally all the dealers have access to the same watches so look for one you like then pick the dealer you want to get it for you
  4. So ths buyer sent Mike Wood the money, and he handed it over? Random
  5. I have no idea what any of you have just said
  6. Cool, get some pics up when you get it! I like them a lot, one day I will own a gen, dammit...
  7. I have seen it used on other forums too - such as "my wallet was raped by the car insurance company", with reference to something happening forcefully against the will of the object mentioned! Or perhaps he meant to type "Have I f*ck*d my Navitimer?"?? Something might be lost in the translation!
  8. None of the reps are accurate to the gen as the 'lume' is too light grey rather than the dark grey of the gen. If you have dodgy eyesight I would definitely say go for the white digits/hands version - after all, it is designed to look like a cockpit instrument, which is itself designed to be easy to read in all conditions and in a wartime environment It's the only one I can read from across the room while I'm in the shower lol
  9. LOL I like your thinking
  10. Kids, they do put parents through the mill! lol It's great to hear they're home, I can't imagine how difficult life has been while they've been in hospital and you've not known what's going to happen. I'm sure they'll continue to keep ou on your toes! lol Conrats to you all!
  11. I think it is. Have you got a link to the auto one?
  12. I like it! Get some wristies in the sun to really show that dial off If I had the money I would be tempted!
  13. Awesome pics I've done florida and it certainly was warm... lol Makes me laugh how these tree huggers moan about how much energy America uses on Air Con etc - have they been to Middle America in summer??
  14. I believe he is still about. One member on RWG1.1 says he is in regular contact with him, although tbh, he does seem to know a little too much about him... lol
  15. Awesome thread with great info, thank you very much
  16. I think he has recently moved house/premises so is a little behind, but he is reliable and you will get it so don't panic! Drop him an email if you've not heard anything for a while and hopefully he will get back to you
  17. That seems a good price Will be interesting to see what you can get, keep us updated!
  18. Be careful getting it on the rep mesh - it's non-adjustable and only really fits if you have gorilla arms! The rubber strap is better and very close to gen too
  19. lol I've seen hamster with a sub on, and I'm sure May has an IWC Porto?
  20. To my eyes, I would have said that the V3 AR seems to make the dial 'darker' than the new AR? Probably just different dial finishes though. Worth investigating what they can do though, thanks for taking the plunge to check them out - without people such as yourself trying things, we wouldn't find out about new stuff!
  21. By 'liter' do you mean 21j? One of them is 21j (with the blue protective wrapping), the other is asian/clone ETA 2836. I believe that these versions from Robert are from the Milgauss factory. The rehaut engraving appears different to (more accurate than) the 2836 on Josh's site, so I'm not sure if they are they same. Either way, Robert's prices are the cheapest you will find, but he operates under different rules to other dealers. If you are considering buying one, I would warn away from the '3131' movement as it is not very good quality, going from other posts I have read. Stick to clone 2836 if you want the correct sweep.
