Nice watch for sure. Jury is out on that mesh for me. Probably because it is links made to look like mesh. I have this one on my SOH.
Actually mesh, which is very cool although I don't like the bars at the clasp much. In the end the gen looks the best.
You can achieve pretty good results by regulating but it is dependent on many factors...how long you wear it, what you did while wearing it, if you took it off over night, what position over night, etc, etc.. Currently mine is running about +/- 3 sec per day....assuming a regular work day. On weekends it is more erratic because my schedule and wearing is always different.
We were also discussing this idea here http://www.rwg.cc/members/Navitimer-date-fix-t97183.html
Glad to see it implemented and that the concept actually work. Well done!
Only question for me now is how to service the movement if you need to? Is it possible to disassemble the date ring in this arrangement?
Yikes! I dare say this fellow you have found does not deserve to hold the title of watchsmith. Good luck with the corrections...Zig is your best bet now.
Wow! That sweep is beautiful. I can see why you want to get that movement into something you can have with you all the time. Sorry I don't have any suggestions but I wish you luck in your search. Just be carefull not to stare at it too much after you're all done or you might look like this....
