  1. Nice work. Very satisfying to do it yourself. Especially when the results are so great!
  2. Don't want to know....... Anyway, you really don't expect to get much out of this do you? I mean there are some that have spent only $100 on one rep and there are those that have probably spent $10k on several.
  3. Great looking strap. Love the buckle. Thanks for sharing.
  4. Definitely rep. Lume dots are a give away. As are the domed screws of the bracelet. Clasp details too. Very nice rep though....mmmmmm.....shiney.
  5. Love your pics Sql! Thats a damn sexy......watch
  6. That link is part of his sig. Don't think he was directing you there for your pearl issue. You have some options for your pearl. Depends on how far you want to go. You could buy a watchmaker pearl of the correct size and glue it in. Source a pearl on ebay. You could contact some of the dealers to see if they can get you one. You could swap the bezel and pearl with gen parts. I don't have a PO myself but these are some of the things I have read others do. Perhaps someone who has dealt with this first hand will post up soon. Cheers
  7. Very generous of J and A to provide the prizes. Thanks guys. Also big to the rafflemeister...thanks Lani... the fuel of the fundraiser! Big thanks to Admin for the draw en gratis! Cheers Looking forward to this!!!!!!
  8. Very cool. I'm really getting into these custom pieces with the pocket watch movements. Well done.
  9. Very nice. The rep of this is quite amazing but the gen just has that "je ne sais quoi". Comparing the two pics it is hard to pinpoint the difference but for sure it is there. Enjoy!
  10. Maybe it was this one...Timex Ironman T56371
  11. Nice shots Hike! I gotta figure out how to get results like that....
  12. Hit up the closest AD...otherwise you just have to keep on searching my friend.
  13. I kept waiting for the bad part as I was reading! Sounds like a kick a$$ week to me.
  14. I was surprised that he was using metal tweezers to hold it in the polisher. Sure looked like it had some serious serrations for grip too. I guess that's where the polishers "skill and dexterity" come in.
  15. Nice pics. Great looking piece....might have to add that one to the list
  16. Definitely rough shape...whoever did that do it doesn't deserve such a fine piece.
  17. I actually now have both in my possession, V1 and V2 (for a "project"...) and there are a lot more differences then I thought. Planning to do a pictorial comparison soon but here is the quick list: Dial finish and printing Bezel thickness and details Lug shape and size Crown Basically looking at both of them side by side every part of the watch is different. If you can hold on to your hats for a bit I am hoping to post with pics in a week or so.
  18. That looks fantastic! Great idea that I'm sure many will follow. Well done.
