  5. Yeah, i'm getting mixed info so i think i'll error on the side of caution. Thanks for the replies either way
  6. @freddy333. I just pulled this from the web: "I suspect that your Colt does do it, just quieter. It's the sound of the ratcheting mechanism in the winding mechanism. To unscrew the crown you have to turn it in the opposite direction to winding the watch and so the teeth 'slip' rather than engage and that's what you are hearing." and "Sounds like everything is normal! What you are hearing is the winding pinion. Rest easy. Roff is correct. Enjoy the watch!" This was re a Breitling chronomnat manual wind. Could this be what i am hearing?
  7. Side shot of my 7032 (to show off the new gen crown ) Also put on a 93150 bracelet. Albeit not as accurate, it feels much more solid/secure than the 7836. jpeg image hosting
  8. Got it, thanks Freddy. I think I'll address this issue.
  9. Thats kind of what i thought. Thanks Z
  10. Ok, i have 7032 with the aformentioned movement. i recently installed gen crown and tube and am now hearing a clicking when screwing and unscrewing the crown. My first thought is the stem was not cut short enouogh. Any other thoughts out there? Is this normal for manual wind? Nothing to worry about? Just thought I'd check here real quick. Thanks. sf

  13. Make small adjustments and test it from there. Don't make too dramatic of a change at first adjustment. may just need a little push. Move small amount, test and move again accordingly and test...etc.
  14. These are fairly easily regulated. You could try that first and possibly save yourself a lot of headache sending it back. There should be plenty of info either here or Google as to how to regulate these but see the "+" and "-" on the back of movement and try adjusting there.
