  5. Ok, the gen crown fits the DW tube. Only issue is the gen crown is a bit shorter and i'll need a new stem. I can handle that. Thanks Red for your pm's/feedback.
  6. Hey Red. Yeah, i could try to fit the crown with existing tube. I just was looking for foresite as to what kind of project i'm in for. One for me or my watrchmaker. Did your gen tube fit well with DW's case?
  7. Has anyone tried putting a gen crown, namely a 703 (mines from Yuki) on the existing DW 7032 tube? Or willi have to repace the tube as well? Just thought i'd see if anyone has experience with this. sf

  12. You have to make sure you're not inserting your tool too deep under the bezel as to not remove the retaining ring with it. The bezel should be removed first then the retaining ring if needed. The retaining ring should have a bit more resistance.

  17. COA on my gen Tag with 2894-2 and my DW Tudor with V7734 was $400.00 +. COA on rep A7750, less than $200.
  18. Nice post. And i agree with the message here. All mechanical watches have issues, gen or rep.
  19. I've always loved these. I used to own a really bad version with black dial. I may have to reintroduce this into my collection but proper this time. Thanks for the great review!!
  20. Looks great! Note: You should try and push in your lever pin on the CG a bit. Looks like it protrudes slightly toward face side...
