  1. I am getting a new Rolex Submariner and a new AP ROO Montoya. Could somebody please tell me what tools i need, and where to get them? I have already bought the Loctite
  2. I do believe she does. I have a picture of it. I really don't understand the Chinese, but i guess the 28800 on the display represents bpm. See attached picture.
  3. Rolex Daytona FG Everrose working chrono. Asian 7750 movement. Bought it from Joshua for 388 USD. Not the cheapest of reps in my book...
  4. Hi! I just got the approval pictures from Connie at Kingwatch (http://www.kingshowbox.com) It's a beauty! And best of all it didn't have the plating flaws that Andrew and Joshua's models, which are about 130 USD more exzpensive, have. The conclusion is simple: Connie is KING
  5. Hi! I was wearing my Rolex today, when a friend asked to see it. I gave it to him and he looked at it. As he was giving it back to me the crystal and the Bezel fell off!!! NOT a very genuine Rolex moment! I know that the reps aren't as tough as the genuine article, but the crystal and the Bezel falling off??? WTF!?!?!?!?!?!? I put it back on, and it feels like it's properly stuck onto, but when will it fall off again? Can i get this fixed by sending it off to be serviced?

  7. She's adorable! Congratulations and salutations from Norway! :thumbsupsmileyanim:
  8. Looks like something the MDs used to use for old-school chlamydia tests...
  9. Hi! I am having problems upgrading my membership. Could somebody please give me an e-mail address i can send the money to? The automatic thing is just asking for a credit card and not accepting my visa, mc or amex... Please help, i'd like to contribute.
  10. Well i was looking to minimize risk by importing the reps along side the "legal" goods i import from China. I also have to say that i think it's hard, especially for somebody who's new to this forum, to find these services, or even more importantly know why we utilize these services.

  12. Dear TeeJay! Our prayers are with Nicola, her son Robin, your family and you. My lady was diagnosed with cervical cancer three years ago. It is luckily a very treatable type of cancer. If you are able to spend some time together it helps with the unbearable waiting period. Making food together also has a good effect. We coined the phrase making "therapeutically complicated" food during my lady's illness. We pray and wish that the biopsy comes back benign. With loving regards from the far west of Norway!
  13. Well, kind of. What i am noticing is that there is a lot of competence held by members of this forum. If we could somehow unite this competence I think the result would be astonishing. I am picturing something like this: 1. Select watch. Watches are reviewed by the same standards as they are in this forum. 2. List possible modifications and illustrate these with pictures. 3. Service of movement as an option 4. Alternate bracelets / Straps This link shows what happens when somebody buys a high-end rep and takes it beyond: It might be a demigod vendor, but the resources are out there, it's just a question of uniting them.
  14. The ham is a specially cured ham of wild range pigs. PT Swiss may be a perfectly good vendor, but he is far from what i am talking about. He is running a business that is based on normal financial requirements. Basically he has to turn a profit big enough to pay his own salary and also make a profit in his company. I am envisioning a vendor where profit takes a backseat to quality. Also he is not doing modifications such as lume.
  15. After having spent quite some time in this forum, mainly reading other members posts as i don't have the extensive watch knowhow many members do. One thing that has struck me is the need for a vendor situated within the EU / ECC region. I live in Norway where i run a restaurant. The restaurant business in Norway employs mainly Swedish people, and i have a few on staff. Any given week i have people going to Sweden for some reason. We ship the most incredible things between the countries. Everything from certificates of employment to tobacco and a special type of ham that is only possible to get in Kiruna in the far north of Sweden. We have never experienced problems with our shipping during the past 5 years. We have also shipped and received goods from several European countries such as: Germany, the UK, Poland, Denmark, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Romania, Greece, Italy, France and the Netherlands. European and Norwegian customs are known to be fierce, but they concentrate on stopping illegal drugs. This is a good thing, and i like the work they do in that regard, although i wasn't their biggest fan after spending 5 hours in holding while they tried to figure out whether it was illegal to bring Advils (ibuprofen) to Norway. I have noticed that the bulk of the reps (if not all) are being made in China, and that members from some European countries are having great difficulties getting watches through customs. I have been doing purchases of different kinds from china since 2005, and i have had well over 200 packages sent to my business and me personally. I have never had anything stopped in customs. I propose making a virtual European vendor. A vendor that imports reps and that is associated with a company/person doing modifications, and service. The vendor will offer reps wit quality assurance and control, service / repairs and modifications, and foremost insure delivery to your door. I do realize that i don't have all the necessary knowledge to pull this off. I am a chef and not a watchmaker, but it has struck me that many of our members have more insight into watches than many ADs. I got into replicas for the same reason that many have initially: The allure of purchasing something people will think costs 50 times more than you have paid. However. After spending time in this forum and looking at several replicas, i found myself being attracted to the craftsmanship they represent. Being a craftsman myself i have the utmost respect for these works of art and i think that i'm not alone in this. My making such a virtual European Vendor (i use the term virtual because even though everything happens in one storefront the departments are scattered across several countries), we would be able to provide high-end reps unlike what you get from any single vendor today. Even after having read posts in this forum for more than 18 months i am still not sure where to go to get the best modifications done to the watches to make them stand out that much more. There are many written reviews in this forum, and the authors are clearly skilled people. Taking that skill and making it available as a part of the QA/QC with this virtual European vendor is would be a great service for the masses of people who don't posses this knowhow. This will be no great money-maker. It comes down to covering costs, and that's about it. But it will allow us put our skills to practical use, and to feel the satisfaction that comes with knowing that you have delivered a top-range product and a piece of true craftsmanship. Any takers? Any Ideas? Most importantly, any concerns? This is an idea i have come up with, and there may be factors i don't know that will shut it down, but i do believe that it is an idea worth exploring.
  16. I had a guy try to sell me one of these for 10 000 NOK (about 1500 USD) saying that it was the Bentley tourbillion. Now, i may be somewhat inattentive at times, but i DO know that 150 000 dollar watches aren't sold for 1 500 USD...
  17. i'll have one made to order if necessary. I just love that watch. Got an offer for a custom made black crocodile strap with bright red stitching. I did think that HK Tan's price of USD 299 is somewhat steep. Anybody know alternative vendors?
  18. Is it just me, or does anybody else call it a total dealbreaker at even the first hint of a vendor being unreliable? What we are doing is somewhat on the side of the law, and without opening that can of worms, we're actually not able to reclaim money anymore than a pothead who was sold oregano instead of weed. We can complain and warn our fellow men, but the money paid will not be coming back. I'll stick to the trusted vendors even if the price is higher.
  19. Ok, the question then becomes. Where do i go to get this service done, and how long does it take?
  20. HI! I am buying a watch for a friend. He knows it's a rep. But still, he'll appreciate it. I am looking at two options: 1: Rolex Submariner 18K plating TT 2009, Asian 2836 Black 2: Rolex Submariner 18K plating TT 2009, Swiss 2836 Black Both watches are delivered by Connie. I am wondering the following: Is it worth spending an extra USD 80 to get the Swiss ETA 2836-2 movement instead of the Asian ETA 2836-2? I have read the specs on both watches, and the movement is the only difference. Links: Asian movement Swiss movement Any and all advise would be most appreciated. I would also like your general comments on the quality of these two reps. Thank you! With regards, Broker
  21. Well, karma kept him sitting on the toilet with violent diahorrea for hours today....
  22. I am 36 years old, and the patron chef of a restaurant in the second largest city in Norway called Bergen. We are the most reputable a la carte restaurant in Bergen. I was wearing a Rolex Daytona Everrose full gold watch. I originally bought it to wear to a pimp & hoe party, but it has really grown on me, and nobody really doubts it being genuine. The guy was drunk, frustrated, and looking for a fight. I got a call from his wife today apologizing. She explained that he had been wanting a watch like mine for the longest time, but it was still out of his price range. Which is funny because he's a business executive, and i'm a mere chef...
  23. It should be mentioned that the guest most probably had a really bad morning after. To make sure that there was no bad feelings i comped a dessert for the two of them. His portion had an extra helping of with sorbitol which in such amounts makes for a rather violent diahorrea.... :bicycle:
  24. Hi! I had a somewhat drunk and very obnoxious guest in the restaurant tonight. I did my usual round to talk to the customers, and when i passed this guy he grabbed my hand and shouted that my watch was fake. Luckily i had my wits about me, and told him that he was free to inspect it and that it was every bit as genuine as the love his wife felt for him. He had to admit that the watch was gen because as he said "everybody knows that the fake rolexs tick..." After having seen his wife's reaction and general demeanor towards him, i am certain that my statement was 100 % accurate. The Rolex Daytona RG i bought from Josh is every bit as genuine as the love she felt for him...
  25. Hi! I have a 9.5" wrist (24 cm around), and I want to buy the AP ROO JPM Rose gold edition. Will the strap fit? Any tips from you who already has it would be most welcome. Thank you! I Forgot to add a picture...
