From my experience, changing to a thinner or thicker gasket may help to solve the problem sometimes. But I'm not sure it applies to your case.

Think it would be an headache to keep all watches running all the time; so i never do that and don't see any good reason to do that. But if I want to make sure a watch is running smoothly before wearing it, I'll put it on a watch winder, say a week in advance.

I change the strap at the same time when changing watches and just tell my wife that it isn't a new watch, just with another strap; and the straps are cheap. Luckily, unlike most of us, she never bother to look into the details.

PAM without CG is not right visually. The crown needs not be that big and thin. The thin crown in such a big watch is just to allow it to fit into a decently sized CG; and its large diameter is to allow it to be winded (when the lever is opened) by protruding out of the CG thickness. It's just not right without the CG!

I've a 3714 with gen dial, and is going to mod another one. Never heard any problem of swapping the gen and rep dial for any version of this watch; except for the quartz one I don't know.

Bro, you get the gen tachy in ardoise now! I once wanted to buy the gen 3714-31 dial from Vu. However I couldn't get the matching gen tachy from you so I gave up. Just no luck!
