  1. Hello guys, I was browsing the offerings of our dealers and bumped into this from ETAworldgoods... http://www.etaworldgoods.com/daytona4.htm The price IS steep at around $678...the difference is the movement: a swiss Valijoux 7750 not an asian vali...I don't own a rep daytona but apparently the major concern was the reliability of the asian 7750 (at least the old version). The question is then, would this solve the problem? was there a problem to begin with? is it worth the expense? Thanks for your input guys! Cheers Alex
  2. Thanks for the tip! How do we contact the REAL George? What did you think about the prices and quality? Cheers Alex
  3. AMEN!!! Who could add anything to this? Alex
  4. Agree with Mahlerote. Check the explorer II...is $462.99 and is exactly the same watch our dealers are offering for $250. The white dial ExplII still has the wrong hour markers (SS instead of black in the gen)... Haven't read anything in the description suggesting that these watches are MBW...only the fact that we all crave for one and nobody would hesitate on dishing out 450 bucks for a TRUE MBW. Having said that, those watches look really good! Alex
  5. Expensivooo but let me ask a question to the Rolex connoiseurs: are those comparable to Joshua's Perfect overhauled sub or Trusty's high end? The specs are similar and he does not say they are MBW...pardon me if this sounds ignorant...it might be because I am...(when it comes down to rolex replicas) Alex
  6. Try 1 Canal St, NYC, NY Attn: Mr Wong He'll give you a buck or two for your reps, for sure!!!!
  7. GEN...deep rehaut and black hour markers! or a 'franken-plorerII' The black contour on the hour markers should be an easy fix for factories (actually the 12, 6 and 9 are somewhat black on the rep)...but I guess they are selling them as is... That's why if you are going to buy a rep ExplII get the black dial... just my 2cents Cheers Alex
  8. Hi highdef! I'm compelled to correct you...if you pop the caseback, there won't be any noticeable difference (in well kept and modded models) so what needs to be done is to open the front case...if you find an extra GMT hand...the crying game commences. Cheers Alex
  9. I always thought you were a caring, sensitive, introverted character Neil!!! loved the comments...True! some guys should also try to hit Rio de Janeiro, Brazil...I know people who fell in love at first sight there and ... and ... kept on sighing, panting, exhaling etc etc. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder ...not my cup of tea and I wouldn't cup those tea bags...but we were ALL wondering who that beauty was ... As I said, if one was born say, a Submariner...but deep down inside feel like a Lady Datejust...it takes a lot of cojones to go through all the mods... Re Coulter, there is only one level more despicable than being a feminazi...and that is: a fake feminazi! Cheers my friends! Alex PS: found my meds!!!but they had expired
  10. Some people wouldn't mind a longer crown in their replicas Say you were born a submariner...but deep down inside you feel you are a Lady Datejust...you gotta go through a lot of mods!!!...It takes a lot of courage to do that I guess...and a good modder. Cheers! Alex PS: where's my prozac??? gotta double the dose
  11. Tough position you are in, Steely. Apparently Swiss authorities are protective of their most profitable industry (after private banking)...You need to find an address just crossing the border, maybe a PO box? Or change the habby altogether. Regards
  12. Well, the bezel insert is gen OEM. That's the extent of my knowledge I just purchased a bezel insert on Ebay for my upcoming submariner 2005 from Andrew...hopefully it will work...if it doesn't fit, I'll send it your way free of charge Alex
  13. i DONT understand i DONT understand i DONT understand Jose can you please explain? Are you www.replica-factory.com??? Thank you! Alex
  14. I use a USB cable to connect my phone to the PC and store the data (usually an excel type file) there. Manufacturers sell their 'data packages' which is basically a cable and a software interface...connect da new phone and upload the data file...done it a couple of times with motorola phones. Alex
  15. Nanuq, Life is half dreams...half hope. Don't lose any! Thank you for the tip! I'll stay alert...in the meantime my quest for a submariner in NYC is still failing! Tourneau (3 locations) has a 10-12 week waiting period (1/3 of a pregnancy) for a SS Sub with date. Wempe 3 months...only one has a Sea Dweller... And I can't get myself to buy from a non-authorized internet dealer. According to Tourneau, if you buy a watch from a non-authorized dealer, Rolex will NOT service the watch! Sounds odd but I'll call Rolex directly tomorrow morning and find what the deal is... BTW, the new SS oyster solid bracelets on the Datejust watches feel incredible: heavy, sturdy and beautifully finished. Apparently the sports series are going to have the same bracelets starting 2007 (non official...an AD assumption) Man! this watches Cheers Alex
  16. Everybody wait!!!! There is a new edition (Toy Piano 2006 2nd edition) coming soon!!! Apparently the 1st edition was not tuned properly... (mmm...where's my psychiatric medication? ) Alex
  17. I don't want to be a party pooper but the 'references' they provide take you to GOREPLICAS...a known scam site with SWISS MADE replicas, GRADE 1 SWISS replicas...etc... I have to grant it to you: the pieces look nice! however... Caveat Emptor (or Empty walleat) Cheers Alex
  18. I'm salivating like a 17year old on prom night... those images are wrist porn... Who is carrying that beauty? Congrats for a sexy looking SD Alex
  19. Looks like Trusty's 2005 edition http://www.trustytime.com/index.php?main_p...f88e479103e788d ...but much more expensive... is it the same product? Also, check the Explorer II they sell for "VIP" customers...the rim of the hour markers are silver (SS) rather than black...same version PT and others are offering...I could be wrong...unless a frankenwatch the high end versions are the same (the difference is the price you pay for the same product) Salud friends! Alex
  20. Are we going to review and ask for references on every site we find on the internet? 99% are SCAMS! Globalschmeplicas, italian schmeplicas, bestsshitsss and others...we have the luxury of our forum's dealers...Mahlerote, if I were you I'd stick to them...they carry the best quality, sevice and prices you can ask for...there is NO difference between their products (TTK, Eddie, Josh, Andy etc) and those advertised as high quality 457 jewels for $1100 on the internet...mmm...wait a second, there is a difference...about 850-900 bucks!!! and peace of mind! Just a friendly advice, you'll save headaches, heartaches and walletaches... Salute! Cheers Alex
  21. Hello Champ I can't blame you...curiosity killed the watch, but as your question: you gotta learn somewhere dont you? Yes! medical school 6 years (in Europe and South America) Surgical Residency 5 years Then and only then cutting alone...before then? supervised... Next time, start your training opening the case alongside a watchmaker!!! (and use a cheapoTimex) Salud
  22. Sorry, you are correct...AD's cannot advertise or discuss prices online. On the flip side, wallachswatches.com do have the best pricing...($4200 for a new 2006 submariner), is an internet business *they take amex and I've been reluctant to ship my Rolex for an appraisal as a trade in. Tough tough tough
  23. Me too!!! this is getting expensive for me and addictive as well...Nothing like a gen and the pull can be stronger than pussaaahhh (sometimes) That begs the question, gentlemen: any of you know of a Rolex AD with an internet site with pricing? I've found essentialwatches.com so far... Salud and thank you! Alex
  24. Thanks for the update...now we get two items instead of one... By the way, is that a real toy piano? Alex PS: These guys are THE best! who can imagine this type of service and communication with any other dealer out there?
