Great link...impressive and thorough review! Somehow I think that it will not surprise many of our experts but an eye opener for me....I guess Rolex is investing more in celebrities, PR campaigns and the private jets of their upper echelon than on the watches themselves...And it is bearing fruit: if you want a sub in NYC from an AD you'll have to wait 12 weeks (according to Tourneau)...after reading this an Explorer ETA based replica of good quality with the proper mods is not such a bad idea. Thanks! Alex

Mmmm...interesting; can you post the link...? still searching...I still think that the Expl II in black is a great rep...without the SS issue around the markers that the white dial still has... Regards Alex

Need Some Advice! I Am Buying A New Rep Asap.
Alextor replied to ProZac's topic in General Discussion
Also, I hear that Homer has a good selection of Breits, PAMs and Rollies and is UK based Alex PS: I think the underdog of that list was the Expl II in black...a great rep to my understanding...since it does not have the SS issue on the markers...looks just like the gen...the only mod you'd like to do is to have the bracelet polished and smoothed on the edges... -
Need Some Advice! I Am Buying A New Rep Asap.

Which color, I like the white version best, any comments on that issue? Are all the dealers selling the same version atm (Breitling)? Don't want to be forward...but why don't you look at the pics and buy what you like? people will be happy to recommend brands, dealers, movements, etc...but color? Well depends on the color suit you are wearing... -
Pug, you are right, as I said...it is impossible to know what's going on on the other end of the line... he received $500...takes 10 seconds to acknowledge...even advising the customer that the shipment could be delayed...Not sure what's going on with Angus and I hope he is alright but what created the issue was the lack of communication from the seller (we wouldn't discussing this today...) A

It IS easy to say...and I'd be jumping up and down... but PAM1A is keeping his cool and refraining from flaming anybody, yet...in general the dealers in the forum always come through. Dropping a one liner takes 10 seconds and would have brought reassrance and also is a good bussiness practice...especially after receiving almost $500...that is the least one deserves: "Got payment...watch on the way". I was pointing out that PAM1A is keeping it cool and I applauded that. I hope Angus ships the stuff pronto... savvyy? A

Review Of Tag Link Automatic Chronograph 7750
Alextor replied to By-Tor's topic in By-Tor's Watch Reviews
GREAT REVIEW B-T!!! aka. the dean of all reports perfect. You put the 'need' in the phrase "I really need to get one of these"...impressive, thorough, honest. Learning material... (but I'll wait for the next generation...apparently it's going to be manufactured by Tag) Gotta email PT!!!where are my pilllsssss...? Cheers Alex -
Hi Theo, I see your point and you are very kind in trying to avert any inflammatory or accusatory tone to your questions. I've never dealt with Angus but from other's experience I'm sure he'll be contacting you or sending the watch straight to you. Even though dropping a one liner 'watch on the way.thxs' takes 10 seconds...it is impossible to tell the 'reality' the other person is going through at the other end of the line...hold on tight...I'm sure you'll get the items you ordered! One of the great advantages of the forum is the trustworthiness of the dealers! Cheers Alex

What Replicacenter Has To Say About Rwg.cc
Alextor replied to thomasng's topic in General Discussion
Well, I'm leaving from that place too!!! A -
I contacted the seller and asked for a better picture of the caseback and for the serial number... This is what he replied: Hi, thank you for your interest The serial number is on the strap next to the lug and it 98000085. Serial numbers on the STRAP....how'bout'dat? Cheers Alex
-
My advice is to say: "It's a collector's piece" and "you just don't want to know the price"...then change the subject. If a great replica, nobody would mind and they'll keep on wondering... Regards and enjoy the 'collector's piece" Alex

Dear Fellfell MBW stand for Maria's Best Watches...those watches set standards for vintage reps and are considerably more expensive. Do a search on RWG and you'll find information about those watches Alex

Hello guys I found a very useful link on Rolex watches...I know, another one? This one has serial numbers information, and a lot of information for noobs (I'm masternoob) and non-noobs alike. Plus a collection of Rolex ads throughout time...(then you realise why a simple work watch costs a bit less than a IWC Portuguieser... ) http://www.oysterworld.de/ Regards Alex

The PP 5053 is a GREAT choice...and Joshua is a gentleman, you'll be impressed with the watches he'll send you... Wilkommen dude!

Flexeril and naprosyn is fine...take the naprosyn with a full stomach (with food...not booze ) Flexeril can cause diziness...it is a common complaint. Make sure you take one before you go to bed, it will help you sleep better too. Don't drink alcohol either, don't know your liver but the alcohol has (we all know it) central nervous system effects that can potentiate the effects of the flexeril... Best bet, use a electric heating pad (over the counter, no prescription needed) over the lumbar area. As our improved osteopath was correctly saying...this is usually self limiting and resolves in 3-4 days...if lingers, get films and an MRI. Having a diagnosis is important...what to do with it is more important! Feel better and let us know how you do! Alex

I have seen disasters done by chirowackos...they can play with other joints no problem!!! And no...the SI joint moves about 2 mm in young people, if that in the older population and is more complaint only during pregnancy due to hormonal environment to accomodate for the fetus. Dysfunctional SI joint....interesting...I send my dysfunctional SI joints for a psych evaluation Anyway, this is about watches and helping others so I won't debate anymore... Good luck and let us know how it goes...feel better Alex

NEVER EVER EVER USE a Chiropractor for spinal pathology...they are insane. Antiinflammatories, maybe pain medication (narcotics) if needed for a couple of days, hot packs to the area -use an electric heating pad-, and a muscle relaxant. You need to see an orthopaedic surgeon...if this is not your first time you need an MRI (magnetic resonance image)... You should feel better in a week or so, if this lingers...MRI Let us know Alex PS: SI joints don't crack (but they can hurt!!)
