Ouch Rob, I was just to ask you again about the danger of removing the PR module from an ETA 2893, that you already told about in the old-and-now-forever(?)-gone RWG1.
Well, no problem, I'll either wait or have my local watchsmith take the plunge. Have a great summer, all the best!!!
:sss:
Really thanks, Ken!
...Even if some credits go to phault too...
They also have the Urina and the Menstruation models!!
And the thinner crowns I've ever seen!
On a 2nd look no tourbillon, though.
@phault: be sure we are not laughing at you, but at that site. Great find!
Welcome to you!
Not bad at all. A fantasy watch, but good looking -- and with a good crown too.
Even not badly overpriced, if there is really a ETA 7753 inside.
I wonder about the backside.
Do a search for posts with 'finepics' and 'relume' as keywords, and you'll see how good azgjav's suggestion is...
I had Finepics reluming my PAM028, and I couldn't be more satisfied.
I am late so my vote does not count, but I still want to say that your GF looks gorgeous even with that white mess on her face.
There are better ways to hide a face with any photo retouch program. I shall do it for you for free -- just send me her pictures.
UPDATE
Ok, guys, here are the results of your suggestions.
Watchprince dropped their expedition cost down to $11.35.
Don's straps are 4mm thick.
So --
I ordered from both them.
I'll take you responsible for my bankrupt.
As a last chance, a good watchsmith might be able to make hands fit on different pins -- with the help of a reamer, in case.
Additionally, my watchsmith also told me that he would prefer to fit a too narrow hand on a large pin than a too large hole on a thin pin.
No pun intended.
The first was Jethro Tull in Rome, 1971.
But the one that striked me most was Van Der Graaf Generator, 01 DEC 75 Italy, Rome
...where the band had their gear stolen.
Listening right now? Van Der Graaf Generator.
Some minutes before: Marillion.
Even before: Bach's The Art og Fugue (but in a unique chamber music Russian edition).
After? Mmmm.... maybe U2... or the Who, perhaps...
