Maybe it's time to report the parcels in Question to the Thai ... Powers that be ???

Well.. all I can say is .. they would have a record of who touched it last.. after it was released form Customs... and the powers that be really Know that these are not genuine rolex's otherwise you would be charged a duty as I once was almost 3 years ago.... just paid it and hoped it was a one time deal.. so the option is there..report it.. although they may find it suspicious to report an empty package ,.. after you have taken it home.. .. and will ask why did you not repoert it when you picked it up? .. obviously empty then too ??.. sounds like no risk to you. .. but that's totally your call... I used to work at the airport and was taken on a tour of Customs by a co-workers Dad.. who was head of Customs at the airport.. they are more secure than Fort Knox in a lot of way's .. so I am really not speculating..just in case members are wondering.. Now stay with this .. because the US Customs agents are the "Cleanest in the World" they are given thorough back ground checks .. polygraphs .. they are profiled though intense testing.. drug tested .. and the entire customs area is secured and video taped.. every inch .. anyway..your package is prepared for foreign dispatch (paper work / Customs.. point of Origin) paper work is approved and "foreign dispatch " is a go.... your parcel is on it's way to LAX.... where it is in a secure bin and NO ONE has access to it until it is taken directly from the Plane.. still cannot get to it.. and ushered into a secured area where no one is allowed but federal agents and the area is thoroughly scanned with video.. every square inch...(unless your hiding in the cargo hole no way can human hands touch this item.. Your parcel is numbered to correspond with the manifest of items sent.. checks and balances .. they are not randomly thrown in a bin at LAX Customs... everything is accounted for.. letters are not done in this fashion..and the numbered parcels are cross referenced with the manifest Now .. Customs agents are looking for several things.. above all else .. drugs .. and they are trained to notice anomalies ... so a parcel that Say's "watch" should have some weight to it... yet this parcel would appear "empty".. so what is the first thing they do after reading the declaration and cross referencing the manifest . .. . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . .They open it.... and find only the dial and the hands wrapped inside.. but the parcel was sealed and not opened and resealed.. in other words it is obvious that nothing was removed .. they could send it back for lack of proper declaration .. but they are aware that it is what it is.. so to speak .. so they send it on its merry way .. to me.. with all contents present and accounted for.. . And ANYTIME customs opens or even accidentally tears your parcel ... this green tape will be applied after the item is thoroughly taped up .. only then will the Customs and border patrol tape be applied.. Now I still haven't opened this up.. because it is easier for me to locate the way it is .. for the moment... now if there were a watch in the parcel and it was opened it still would be passed... Now the parcel goes to the Post office and is sorted and comes to me.. So there are options for you actually if in fact the package was opened and the watch was "stolen".. because now there is no evidence that it is a "fake" Rolex.. you could report it .. as theft and say anything,... from it was a Casio to parts... and what is bothering is the fact that the post office would also notice this and may even question you to .. do you have the article that was supposed to be in the parcel.. there are a host of options... the time frame for these customs parcels are logged and tracked and scanned .. they could narrow down who touched it and when... so why don't you follow up because they cannot cause you harm for reporting something stolen that they have no proof of what it is... You Feel Me ? ... you could end up catching the thief.. that is if you want to ...

Some things just don't add up for me.. and if you could help me clear it up (for me) .. If the package were empty when it arrived in the US.. the light weight and lack of item listed on the paper work in the package and the "cut" in the package would surely arouse the interest of Homeland Security ... they do check the paper work to the item very carefully.. I will not get into how I have experienced this "twice" .. from the same point of origin.. If it were opened by customs it would be sealed with a green US Customs tape.. I will add a pic in a minute .... if they confinscated it from Thailand you would not get a package at all.. but a ceritified letter in the mail .. usually stating not siezure but .. your item has been returned to the original sender due to lack of sufficient documentation for purposes of Duties.....your dealer would get the watch back and that would be that.. btw if you have it sent out EMS instead of Priority or First class you would really not have the problem I have just stated.. for some reason EMS is handled differently than other choices of freight...advantage is definately with the reciever on EMS.. So therefore the package had to have been opened(in theory) in between customs at the Airport and the final destination (your post office) before it gets to you... and Customs is a very, very secure area.. no other people except sidearm totingagents are in there.. .. the truck is loaded in the Customs area and it goes straight to the Post office..

Chief will send the finished AR mag to you ... you need to remove your mag and install the AR mag (or have someone do it) Just so we are on the same page.. that is what I am helping members with..
