Yup.. your a good and honourable gent MP... but the world is not that way.. we can only hold "ourselves" to those standards... trying to find a honest contractor in today's world .. better to believe the polititians... so my mantra is.. This is a fact of life MP.. weather it be reps .. genuines.. I had the Rolex AD saleperson tell me the most bizzare untruths to the GMTIIc.... that would make anything the rep dealers say appear to be the "Ten Commandments" ...I have heard Jaguar and Ferrari and yes even Tiffany's "Sales people" .. come out with the most outlandish BS.. all for what ... Sales my friend .. The world is no different and neither are the people when it comes to sales.. weather genuine diamond or CZ ... human nature takes over.. so please don't think we are the first nor the last that will be told "misdirection" by sales people.. especially if one puts them against the wall The better thing to do is ask the Q... then filter the A ... and make decisions based on that ... it sometimes is a game of Chess or Poker ... but to cry foul means you don't have any options ... which we do .. I am not "blindly loyal" ... if there is a mistruth... then I need to see through the naivete of thinking that everyone is alway's going to tell the truth... I try and live by the commandments and the "golden Rule".. but put me in front of a Judge .. and who knows what story I would come up with .. although the last time that happened I stuck with the truth and was let off.. so go figure ask the question.. take the answer with a grain of salt at times. ... this is life MP.. and these reps will not be "perfect" but our expectations are sometimes unrealistic for it not being a genuine.. IMO

I'm still reading the detailed threads of yours.. this is for us grunts... to get the new members going for the next class... there is stregnth in numbers and with all the best info .. like your reviews.. we need to reach every new member ..... it's up to the 'rank and file" to help get the most out of the forum so that members as yourself .. ad your reviews are not wasted.. (not that they ever were)

Well said Andreww .. coming from a veteran member and one who has been through all the controversies ... a good reputaion is easily torn down .. a negative reputation or reputed negative is not easily corrected .. no matter how hard one tries... there is alway's a great deal of speculation on threads that "anticipate" the new arrival... so for me,.. I like to wait on the "arrival" of the actual rep piece.. these threads alway's seem to escalate like an angy "mob".. looking for a lynching .... Or maybe it's that time of day and too much Caffine !!!! should be another day or two before we see the first ones touching down in the US.. so maybe everyone can "hang tight" ... start another thread on the next rep we can demolish before arrival...

The MontBlanc Timewalker Chrono PVD/SS bottom line this is another great replication IMO.. there are a few "rough" looks.. ie. the lug area.. is a bit rough on the inside of the case .. but it is not noticable unless you get to look at it with a loupe or macro lens.. btw.. the date well is centered I failed to move it before shooting the pics...sorry gang !! I cannot find anything amiss with the dial,, except the usual sunken date wheel .. the rotor is engraved as the previous TW ... the seconds at the 9 is a good thing after reading through Ziggy's threads on the A7750 movement No noisey rotor.. we'll see.... The crown is not screw down... the chrono pushers feel good, I cannot get specs on the genuine.. if anything the pushers may be a fraction too close .. but they look good to me.. if I have to overanalyze the spacing then it must be all good to the natked eye.. (oranyone but us).. the chrono hand is not as "smooth" as you would like but no problems with it so far.... the sweep second hand is very smooth 28.8k the bracelet is done the same as the previous MB's ... sports model ... etc. .. this is what attrachs me a lot to the MB.. the bracelet is a real looker.. especially with the PVD coat.. which is done on a gloss finish.. very eye catching .. this would be a great watch with a dark suit.... again IMO... note that the pins are faux srews.. I don't know if this is like the genuine... but they come out very very easily ... maybe a bit too easy.. some lock tite should do the trick.. It is heavy so if you are not used to the weight on timepieces this one is not for you... the movement does feel dry .... as Ziggy states needs to be.. unlike th AP .. could it be the crown and stem that makes the difference the AP's hexagon crown feels snug and tight ,.. the MB feels loose and you can feel the "dryness in the rotations.." All around a very good choice if you like the MB styling.. with this timepiece .. IMO you either like it or you don't .. it's really too bad there isn't any AR coat... it would top off this piece nicely ... but we have chief so .. nuff said thanks for viewing hope you enjoyed the quick summary

Another member brought this to our attention last week,, he said he removed his mag using acetone .or nail polish remover which I use to clean the glue out of the bezel insert(you can get 100% pure acetone in the expensive nail polish removers) and this reminds me to check with chief just to verify that this would not hinder the AR process .. meaning it will not affect the saphire crystal..

this may be interesting... Gannett has multiple vehicles .. including some very large Trucks.. that run on propane...quiet efficient.. so why dosen't all the vehicles follow suit?? more cost effective.. the "Gas Company' stopped converting engines to propane recently.. why could it be that so much of the State taxes are gathered at the pump ?? if the State lost just a small percentage of the pay at the pump taxes it would be devastating !! I suppose it is like this across the country.. no wonder we are stuck on petrol ...
