Edit add: 7/21/08 The Crystal have been ordered and verified by the vendor.. I should recieve them by the end of the week .. Joshua and Andrew ..are the dealers responsible for "Buying" the Genuine for the makers to replicate... it is up to the "Makers When" it will be released.. that another maker came out with it first does not meant that the dealer that comes out with the V-2 is responsible for it's release.... seems like someone jumped the "gun" and it seemed as if J&A had nothing to do with the V-2 ... The day that the genuine was released to the AD's it was bought by J and turned over to the maker.. of the V-2 ... but some dealers have commitments to other makers too.. and cannot refuse to list thier copies ... regardless if they have 2 models of the same watch ... much like a car dealership "has" to carry the factory models All the Dealers here are "Factory" Collectors and are bound by the factories to move their product.... the 'secondary dealers' buy from the factory dealers not directly from the factory All dealers are are able to buy the genuine.. the ones that choose not too have different agreements with the makers.. the ones that do have different incentives.. because they contribute to "product development" Bottom line the dealers are "supposed" to abide by what the makers advise them to do.. if they say release this first..or do not release this until a certain date.. the dealers are "supposed" to follow direction.. unless you are trying to undercut someone.. hope that clears some confusion .. this is not just for the breitling but for all makes and models.... the dealers are not supposed to release before it is approved or post prototypes, unless told otherwise.. but the competition is .. the competition...

OK... the mag is saphire and I did remove it..... I will have to find a place to do the acetone it is not good to do indoors.. and just with one crystal and a couple of ounces of Acetone 100% pure the fumes are too toxic.... I used heat but part of the datejust crystal where it is in the case set is plastic.. so heat is an option but the plastic has to be cut off first.. the problem with the acetone is finding a container .. may have to see a chem lab.. the acetone once released to oxygen reacts and expands .. sort of like giving off gases and a regular container makes me nervous..

AAHHHH .. the acetone will not work..100% pure ... i'm getting to like the feeling of inhaling the fumes too much .. even with it in a covered container.. it's getting into the AC unit.. this will have me buying too many bottles and will bring attention to my hobby ...or they'll think I got a drug lab,....

correction freddy sorry the fumes are friggin getting me.. a little under 7mm about 6.95 and a little under 6 width.. 5.9 something.. should be spot on to the genuine.. this is the wholesale outlet on ebay .. pretty good after market .. sheesh this 100 % pure acetone packs a wallop

Pm replied to the Mag on the Rep is 7mm this is for a datejust and is 7mm same diameter as the GMTIIc

update 7/17/08 The crystasl arrived today (saphire w/saphire mag ).. I am currently soaking it in 100% pure acetone.. this will take longer than the heat.. but I just want to see how long it will take.. if we do go ahead and get 20 I don't know if I want this in the house .. highly flammable for one .. two is the fumes although I have it covered I would have to get a air tight glass container for that amount of crystals .. so we'll see.. I have less than 2 weeks before they have to get to chief in Cali.. so we need to make a decision on these ASAP.. cost would be 20 usd per that is for a 20 pax buy ... the acetone if I use it.. (i will spring for) add a dollar for express shiping ... 21.00 usd each mag removed and shiped to chieftang We can decide if chief wants a self addressed envelope for return of these to you .... It is 2.5 magnification and 7 mm ... it is saphire.. and a bit thinner than what is on the GMTIIc Rep.. Now it's up to you guy's Aloha ~ Cheers Lani

IMOP.. women are the "gathers" in organizing picnics camping.. what needs to go .. the details that we would overlook.. I had my Skyland on order last week from the HBB maker (all collectors will have the HBB version) .. so this was no surprise .. but I did order the Blue dial from the current release... it is out of customs and I will pick it up Thursday morning .. if however another member will have theirs before then (because of the time zones) and before I spend time duplicating this for pics. PLEASE !!! give a ..HOLLA!!!!! I plan my day ... gym,.. lunch everything around this fact .. and there are not enough hours in the day to accomidate this for me.. but I make time..
