  1. Uncle Sam is a mean SOB! BTW, you should get your material by the end of the week or next .......can't wait to see what they become
  2. Someone set us up the bomb......
  3. Ubi, A better friend you won't find. His watches exude the same quality as the man himself. Dare I say, RWG'er of the year? Enjoying my Ubi crafted 5517 and I am glad it hasn't sold yet: Happy December.
  4. Great post and pics. The only thing better than the watch pics, is the Ass of the girl in your Signature LOL!!!!
  5. Yes. Red, I can send you my crystal tool if you need it. let me know, kurt.
  6. Yes it should come off. Try a new razor blade. Other than that or a case knife with a clean edge, I am stumped.
  7. Rolex provides Service replacement Luminous dials on an Exchange only basis. Ubi's Vintage Big Red Daytona dial is a service dial. Case parts are exchange only as well. Pushers, bezels, case backs and such. How Ubi gets his stuff, well then, he is Ubi....'nuff Said.
  8. BTW, that houses a very nice Longines caliber 12.68z movement. Very desirable among Longines collectors. Is the case 35.5mm? Nice piece.
  9. Well it is a 3 piece case. Your gonna need patience and determination as the gunk probably has it locked. It looks like an opening near the lug. Are you using a case knife?
  10. If it is a Top Loader case, the stem is a 2 piece Male/female. You need a crystal compression tool(Looks like a 20 talon claw). I have used a pointed screwdriver at the 6 o'clock location next to the bezel and pushed in and up. High risk but effective. Can you post a pic? I have a crystal wrench I can send you.
  11. Are you sure it is not a toploader case. Many Longines load from the crystal side.

  13. I had to stack 2 clips. I ordered the .50 clamps but they are on back order. I combined what I had to get the right pressure.
  14. Gonna start with the 7032 wearing it's new Yuki hands(haven't changed the small chrono hands yet) Then I'll change to my home-made Bulova Submariner Turn-O-Graph Wearing some NOS Bulova Dauphine hands.. Have a great weekend. Kurt.
  15. Jules Borel. A few parts are on backorder though. Around $125.00 for all parts I think.
  16. Regulation can only be achieved if the Beat error is correct. Once that is set, then the Auto winding bridge needs to be removed and proper regulation can be done. You can play with it, mess it up and then send it to a watchmaker to correct. Good luck and have fun.....and Happy Thanksgiving.
  17. I will check with my guy on Friday. Kurt
  18. No blood here........but it's still early.
  19. I guess I'll cruise with the Monte Carlo Enjoy your weekend, Kurt.
