Hi Ive recently bought this Omega Seamaster Dial: But i dont really know what model it comes from. Is it from a Bond 007 model, or regular Bond SMP Is the case back for this dial a regular SMP case back: or special 40 years of bond case back: Or other?? any help is much appreciated Please help as its for a project im doing Thanks Joe

As far as i can see this area does not have Lume. check out member Rolli's post with lume pics http://www.rwg.cc/members/Pam-089-Ti-Gmt-T...ots-t20040.html you can see the opposite site at 3 oclock doesnt glow so its not lumed Maybe i can simply draw a thin white line on the dial?? any ideas??

I know its not the only flaw but the number '12' of the GMT marker flaw cant be fixed. The missing 9 oclock marker can be fixed. but how??

OK so as the title says the PAM 89 GMT titanium Anthracite Dial has a flaw. It lacking a 9 oclock hour marker. see the pic Anyone have any idea how to fix this??

AFAIK the dial feet on the ETA 2892 and 2824 are the same. Dial should fit no problem, can anyone verify this?

Thanks you are correct, i knew it had gone up. Luckily i bought one about 3 months ago and got it for a steal at $325!!!!. But how can they justify the price jump?? its nearly $200 more expensive. Even if it is an ETA 2000 that Cartier uses in the Gen, you can buy a Guaranteed Genuine Swiss ETA 2000 for $150 from Bob 'Deranged' Ofrei!!!! http://www.ofrei.com/page_183.html its the 4th Movement from the top by the way there was a cheaper version on Josh and Andrews site with an ETA 2671 for around $200 but its gone now.....??

Sorry misunderstood, the Rep was only SS not Ti. Thats why i got it blasted. By the way the case and bracelet are on the way now so i should receive them in a week or so. Ill keep all updated. Joe

Hi Im thinking about getting this watch but does anyone have it??? Ive tried searching but cant seem to get much info on this watch, the only minor issue i can find is the flaw on the Omega logo but this is also on our New and loved Planet Ocean. Anyone out there got any info?? Thanks Joe

Sorry to say but the LV brand just doesnt appeal to me. Even if they make the best watch in the world, ill not buy it. On this rep the rotor is cut out but the engraving isnt really engraved on the rotor. There is a small engraved plate glued on top of the rotor. If you look closely in some pics you can see the plate isnt glued on straight!!!

Yeah, the bezel..... not really too sure about that yet, anyone got any ideas?? even if i do the bezel and get it the correct colour, there are still alot of flaws with this watch. 1 - Its the the wrong size compared to the Gen, Rep is slightly smaller than Gen 2 - The Ti version should have all white hour markers and hands, the Rep markers and hands have silver borders like the SS model. I might just leave the watch as is it depends how difficult it will be

Im not sure if the crystal was left in for the blasting or not ill have to ask the guy that did it As for revealing my contact id rather not divulge now as im sure he doesnt want to be bombarded with emails and im not sure if he would like me posting his name on a rep forum, or his contact details. Im also thinking of getting the IWC Ingenieur with the Numbered dial and having it blasted as its also supposed to be in Ti. If i do ill keep you posted. As for AR i might be contacting Chieftang about it The blasting only cost around $50!!! cheap mod if you ask me!!!!

Hi Guys well i recently bought an IWC aquatimer like this: All Stainless but i prefer the Titanium look but unfortunately its not available in Ti. Well i did a bit of research and found that there is a process called Aluminium Oxide Blasting that will make Stainless Steel look basically like titanium. I havent received the case or bracelet back yet but i have been sent some pics of the finished process on the case. Well without further ado here are the pics, what do you think?? like Titanium?? I still have a little work on the bezel to do but i think its looking much better than the SS.

Guys Well i F***ed up big time. The small clip that holds the chrono pusher in place, stops it from falling off, well ive just gone and flung it across the room somewhere. So does anyone know where i can get these from Please help. Thanks Joe
