  5. well if anyone has any broken Asian 7750 movements please PM me as I'm looking for 1 Thanks
  6. The Gen prob use a variant of the ETA 7753, to adjust the date on this movement you don't use the crown like normal movements. cases with this style of movement have a recessed button at the 8 o'clock position, just like on your montblanc rep. To adjust the date you press this button. The rep simply has this button on the case so that it looks more like the Gen montblanc. Hope this is clear and you can understand
  7. Hi It looks remarkably similar to the hublot big bang...
  8. Not sure i like those..... an acquired taste maybe?? but the bronze one is pretty cool, just the bronze though, dont really like the dial much each to their own i suppose
  9. Hi thanks Denis but the ETA 2836 GMT hand size is different. Anyone else?

  12. When you tried to set the date, what time was it?? if between 10 pm and 2am then this could have caused some problems.
  13. Hi guys Bought an ETA 2892 but it came without an hour wheel. Where can i buy one for a reasonable price?? Thanks
  14. Ive been looking at the Breitling Superocean price $308 on josh and Andrews website, and also again a lack of Movement photo, just like the Bell and Ross supposedly ETA 2892 watch. Why no movement pic, there is a pic of the case back removed but no movement pic??? fishy?? also the price is $308 expensive for a rep ETA 2824, no?? im used to paying in the $200 price range for this kind of movement rep. also compared to the BCE with Asian 7750 at $288. Usually chronograph watches are more expensive than standard ETA watches. Anyone else notice this??
  15. This is what the Gen looks like, just to give you an idea of the bezel colour
  16. Yes Mr. Pugwash, very observant Its for sale in the for sale section if anybody wants it And before anyone asks, i dont think im going to bother with the task of painting the bezel, i think it looks great as it is. but maybe one day......
  17. I just got this from a fellow member and its a beauty. As soon as i got it i opened the case back to check if it actually was a Genuine Swiss ETA 2892 and its is 100%. Eta Markings and the removable balance stud (think thats what its called) here are the pics, if you can pick one of these up id def. recommend it enjoy
  18. Well I got the case and Bracelet back this morning and so when i came home i assembled this little beauty. If you don't know what I've done please read the earlier post, but basically the case and bracelet have been blasted by a process called 'Aluminum Oxide Blasting' giving the Titanium look. Enjoy the pics, i apologize about the Pic quality as i got a new camera and it isn't quite up to the closeup shots. Its a Casio Exilim EX-S770, great camera but not for close ups. Anyway enjoy the pics
  19. Well as it happens i have an ST-18 and an ETA 2892 bare movement in the house and a set of digital calipers so ill measure them when i go home and post the difference or similarities.
