Hi I have a Panerai PAM 27 with the ETA 2892 and SOPRAS power reserve 'Module' My question is: How is the Sopras Module attached?? or is is attached?? Ive been looking at getting the really cheap Silix PAM 27 with asian movement and power reserve. http://www.silix-prime.com/product.asp?id=1486 Does anyone know if the asian movement is a standard movement with a power reserve module or does it have the power reserve built in to the movement?? If the asian movement has a module would it be possible to put the asian module on an ETA 2892 and thus have a really cheap REAL ETA PAM?? Let me know Thanks Joe

HI I had the same problem and had 3 watches confiscated and DESTROYED by Japanese customs. Yes DESTROYED. Forget the stickers. the best thing to do, in my opinion is to put a piece of colourful paper under the crystal. take the case back off, stem out, movement screws out and remove the movement. Then put a piece of paper cut to the same size as the crystal and put it all back together. Presto. If caught by customs all they think is that its a case. here are 2 watches that i got ith the paper put in a PAM 212 and a PAM 28 ETA 2892. didnt want these getting destroyed!!

Hi I want this watch and its seems to have a good movement, allbeit not ETA but thats ok. the thing is that the Rotor is not engraved, it just has stick on gold letters. Does anyone know if it is availale with an engrved Rotor?? Thanks

Hi Ive just taken my crown and stem out of my Daytona secs at 6, and taken the movement out to blow out some dust from the crystal. When all is back together the crown goes back in with resounding click but when i pull it out to set the time the whole stem comes out. when i try again the same thing happens. Please help. What can i do? Any ideas?? Thanks

I live in japan and they dont have any, only a few guys selling on the street under a bridge but its cheap crap and the price tag is around $200. you'd be better sticking with the dealers here.

I got a letter all in japanese, got the mrs to translate, saying that the watches were being sent to rolex japan to be verified and if real they will send to me if not then they will be destroyed. well of course rolex japan will realise they are fake and destroy them. sucks really sucks. Now im worried i might be on a kind of black list or something. anybody have any ideas as to how i can avoid this agian?? ive asked my supplier to remove the movements of my next order and put in a piece of white circular paper the same size as the crystal and then put the movement back in, thus hiding the movement and dial. That way if opened customs willl think its just a case or something?? maybe?? do you think it would work??

well ive just had 3 watches DESTROYED by Japanese customs!!!!!!!. Lost around $700.
