Still not working properly. I cant log in to ebay and cant search. If the search page does load the search just times out. Anyone else having the same problem?

seems to be working a little bit now but really slow. Other websites work fine though and at nomal speed. Strange......

Yes you can, ive done it. I got a PAM 63 case which was from a PAM 63 with ETA 2836 modified GMT and put in an ETA 2893-2 movement, Lello datewheel and hands from repaustria (originally from davidsen). It can be done!!

I need a new laptop should i get Vista with all its problems or stick with XP? im thinking of getting XP also ive always got a computer with an Intel processor, what about AMD? any good? The laptop isnt for gaming or any other intense stuff, just regualr run of the mill work useage, word, excel, internet and of course RWG!!!! Any help is much appreciated. also any brand of laptop? i usually go for a dell but maybe others are better????? cheers

I have a PAM 29 2893 GMT case and the movement, dial, hands etc but the movement holder i have wont fit properly. The movement holder i have is from the ETA 2836 PAM 29 and its not the same size. I have a PAM 63 with 2893 and a PAM 27/28 also with 2892 movement. So i have the correct movement holder, all i need is for someone to point me in the right direction to a workshop who can make a movement holder for me. Does anyone know who could make it for me using the one i have as a master? heres a pic of the movement holder:

They are not finished yet, still a few more mods to do. Both are Titanium and the cases have been oxidized with napisan (oxiclean). The PAM 172 case went quite dark and looks great but the PAM 192 maybe needs to be done again as its not as dark as id like it. Sorry for the rubbish pics
