  1. I thought the Cartel was a name given to Andrew, Josh, Angus and someone I am forgetting since they were agreeing on pricing and setting prices instead of competing.
  2. There are brushing pens made for stainless steel and titanium. very precise.
  3. Dealers cheat on their lume pics. Don't take them at face value.
  4. The only watchmaker I have personally seen advertise case and bracelet re-finishing is Zigmeister. I do not know if anyone else does this professionally.
  5. Agreed ... get as close as you can .. then crop the image quite tightly and post as full size. I bet it will be perfectly fine.
  6. There are members who have their own polishing bench. This type of thing is highly recommended.
  7. Your best choice is to let the dealer send you a new, free crown and stem assembly .. I would be startled if a member here had a crown for this uncommon model just sitting around. I'm 100% certain that the dealer will be happy to send you a new crown and stem. I don't know how much you want this watch to owe you but while it's with George, it really is a good idea to have him do a full service on it. Your call, tho. Keep in mind that gen Rolex owners pay $700 for a service so the 1-2 hundred you might pay is a straight up bargain.
  8. You're more than welcome. He is one of the main men for complex 7750 movements.
  9. Reps have terrible QC. Never trust that your watch is waterproof .. maybe it is and maybe it is not. You have to check. George is a trusted watchsmith on the RWI forum, but he is also a regular member here on this forum. He has a user name made of all numerals .. and it's hard to remember.
  10. It would appear that your crown has come off the winding stem. The stem is in the watch and the empty crown is in your hand. This is easy to fix if the Dealer sends you a new crown and stem assembly ... I dont know how to re-attach a 7750 crown to it's stem so I can not advise you. The 7750 has over 200 parts ... please do not poke anything inside with a screwdriver There is a trusted watch technician in Texas .. named George .. he specializes in 7750 movements.
  11. The crown and tube are an inexpensive and necessary fix. At your leisure, you may replace the clasp, dial, crystal and the hands.
  12. Most trusted dealers replace lost or seized shipments. Contact the dealer but be patient for replies. This is CNY.
  13. It's discontinued. You have to wait for a new release or perhaps a 3rd production run of this model.
  14. Hey, I just re-hosted it after the OP's host died. I'm happy to help out anytime.
  15. Rolexfinder lives in Asia and has all kinds of replica parts projects ... he's a great source.
  16. The micro 4/3 cameras are all miniature wonders. Top flight.
  17. I don't know, Ken. It's now legal for the US military to seize and hold US citizens indefinitely without charge. I wouldn't mind seeing everyone who worked on that law charged with treason.
  18. Thank you. I was hoping someone would have a recipe already created.
  19. The DSSD has a known problem with the crystal being perfect .. this is why BK re-seats his version of the DSSD .. the crystal is often pressed in incompletely on the Noobfactory DSSD. If you buy a DSSD, always ask to see QC pics including good photo of the crystal .. this is good insurance. If it crooked then just ask for the dealer to choose another DSSD for you to buy.
  20. Josh has a new release announcer pop-up on his site. If you just go there, the new releases are shoved into your face. You cant miss it.
  21. Thanks for the professional opinion. I am not confronted by lume. It's changeable.
