adeo - the first thing you should do with almost any replica leather strap is throw it away and replace it with a first quality strap from one of the many forum strap makers or forum recommended strap makers, such as Orloff and Inspire Workshop

Ok so thanks for all the comments so far. I had some time today to chase down the meanings of silver hallmarks .. This watch is from 1918/1919, it was assayed in London, England .. it's importer used the assay office registered monogram "SP" and I do not know what the large G is for, yet ... perhaps the Swiss maker of the movement.

This is good news; a well-designed Asian GMT module has been a long time in coming. No more useless GMT replicas, hopefully!
