  1. Don't worry .. you can like guns and watches too. My DSSD with my other toys
  2. This thread is one of several on this Forum which list and discuss gen parts for the two PO super reps
  3. Look at this thread and you'll get info like this chart and more.
  4. he's just saying that it's like the gen .. a dome shape, and not a flat crystal.
  5. Ok.. all sapphire watch crystals are synthetic .. laboratory grown from a seed crystal, in long rods then sliced into crystals. They are as hard as natural sapphire and can almost not be scratched without diamonds. If your watch has a sapphire crystal, it almost certainly will never scratch. If a dealer says their watch has a synthetic sapphire crystal, this is a dealer code word .. it means glass. mineral crystal. Mineral crystal scratches from daily use.
  6. While that is true, it has nothing to do with the way dealers talk. If a dealer says "synthetic sapphire" you are supposed to know that it is a code word for Mineral Crystal.
  7. Omega does not strictly restrict their parts like Rolex does. If you contact watch parts webstores like Otto Frei, or Jules Borel or CousinsUK, they will have what you want. There are complete parts numbers lists here on this forum in archived discussions.
  8. LOL you just made me switch from my ipad to my PC so I could type a detailed reply more easily. There once was a trusted dealer named Chris and his shop was EuroTimez. He introduced the first really accurate DSSD replica, and it was called the EuroTimez v5 model. Chris was a victim of his own success and could not manage the explosive growth of his business and he failed. Afterwards, the trusted dealer named TrevorTime located the factory source of the EuroTimez v5 model and began to sell it generically .. no name. Since EuroTimez is gone, people don't like to call it by it's original name. I think that's silly, but whatever. To muddy the waters, the Cartel dealers began calling their v3 DSSD (from the noobfactory) the v5 as soon as Chris closed shop. Sapphire is always sapphire from a trusted dealer. Mineral glass and synthetic sapphire are the same when you read it at a dealer .. just glass.
  9. You simply have to know the tricks to waterproof a troublesome design; like dripping epoxy into the inside of a bad replica HeV. If it can accept gen parts like the PO reps, then you have even more choices to make a rep watertight.
  10. VAC is currently ARing diver clopses and crystals
  11. Puretime currently suffers from questionable after-sales service. They are very honest long-time trusted dealers but the people they currently have for customer service are more used to dealing with rubes than forum members, I think. TrevorTime dssd has a funky shaped HeV and the safety latch on the clasp sometimes does not close all the way. That is one thing to look for in your QC pics. That's why I personally consider a noobfactory case and a Trevor dial to be ideal.
  12. Yes I was actually talking about my wife She wouldn't use a saddlebag either. She has the orange Birkin from KB
  13. Men have jobs where you make mid to high six figures and you shouldn't show up with a saddle bag to meet the CFO of an international mega-corporation. Yippee kai yai yay, Martha Fokker. "LOL"
  14. Yes it's the same noob basic watch but with an a21j heart. The dial looks great for a noob as well. If your markers are as thin as these, you'll be very happy. Production variation makes noob markers range from acceptable to weird.
  15. Instead of paying for a high quality lume job, pay for gen hands and dial. Seriously. You can pay for a bargain lume job but .... You will regret it.
  16. ?? Audi interior quality is best in the business. Common knowledge. Unless you're talking $150k+ bespoke of course.
  17. If the mid links here are solid then would not the bracelet alone be worth over a thousand in scrap gold value? If so then congrats.
  18. Oh when I read "vintage ex content" I thought you wanted rude photos of my girlfriends from when I was a teenager edit: aw you changed the topic so now my comment makes no sense
  19. If your business allows you to look like a cowboy. If not, then no..
  20. One of our longtime members has a few Flying B and has posted many wristies and photo threads with custom leather and bracelets. Just search.
  21. that's the street. A red light district where the girls stand in their own glass doorways and smile.
  22. These look great on thick leather straps as well.
  23. If the Noobfactory defined it's prices, certain dealers would never be able to undercut the Cartel dealers by almost $100 across the board on Noob watches ...
