  1. The most upsetting thing that's going to happen to you is Customs seizing something you bought. A good dealer will re-ship a seized delivery at no cost to you.
  2. Looks amazing with the generic insert installed inside. Enjoy it.
  3. THAT is a 2 year old bag? WOW! Just wow. It wears like iron, huh?
  4. Dealers are free to charge what ever price they like. Some of the more popular dealers feel they can charge quite a bit more. Look around if you are searching for lower prices. I'm not going to attempt to list high and low priced watch dealers.
  5. It is actually very easy to find gen crocodile straps .. it just costs money. The strap may cost you as much or more than the watch did.

WOW enjoy that. It's beautiful .. I've had my eye on this for a while now.
  7. GRAN !! Welcome back. Where've you been for 6 months?
  8. A low beat movement is period correct for Rolexes made before 1989, I believe.
  9. a21j is a catch-all name for a type of Asian movement. The 2 most common (and reliable) a21j movements are the 4813 and the 2813. One's a high beat and the other is a low beat movement, so no, a21j does not mean low-beat. It's just a movement family.
  10. What the man said. Be more specific, koturbo, please. There are a hundred kinds of "Rolex" ... what did you have in mind.
  11. look here
  12. $110 usd is a fair price for a noobmariner with clone eta.
  13. You can see the swirl design (pearlage) all over the plates on this movement, and also the fact that you can not see the rubies in the reversing wheels, due to the auto-winder plate blocking their view. This to me is the sign of a Sea-Gull 2824 clone copy of the ETA 2824.
  14. That's a Sea-Gull 2824 China clone movement. Did the seller charge you for real ETA or China Clone?
  15. If you remove the crown and stem improperly (very very easy to do) you will upset the keyless machinery. It is easy to fix but the watch does need to be taken apart.
  16. I love a sunburst dial and a pearlage movement.
  17. Offshore (Watchbitz) scoured his suppliers in China for the best tools available for the best prices. He even has 1 supplier take apart all the screwdrivers and replace the cheap Chinese soft steel tips with real Swiss hardened steel tips.
  18. Trolling is a method of fishing, where you cast many hooks at once and drive around in a school of fish, trying to catch as many as you can. When you enter an Internet community and make statements designed to stir up trouble just to see how many people you can anger, then you are trolling (in the Internet definition of the word) Many people today think Trolling has something to do with the mythical creature "the troll" but of course it does not.
  19. It is common for one rep dealer to completely steal the content from a web site and use it for their own site. Check here for the real sites before you buy.
  20. The keyless is a series of parts which allow you to wind a watch without using a KEY .. the keyless.
  21. There are a few movement options when you buy a replica watch ... battery powered quartz ... Asian made mystery movement, Asian clone of Japanese movement, Asian clone of Swiss movement and a real Swiss movement. DO NOT buy an Asian clone 3135 Rolex movement. They are not reliable at all. In your price range you can score a real Swiss movement and of course it can last your lifetime with a servicing every 5 years (oil dries out) What you have to understand about this hobby is that chinese factories have zero quality control. If you buy 4 identical watches, one might break in a week and the other 3 run forever. It's a total crapshoot. What you need to do it buy a watch with a *repairable* movement in it. That means you have access to spare parts .. SO try and stick to the Swiss movements and clone Swiss movements. Even if you buy an unfortunate turkey, once it is repaired by a legitimate watchsmith it's good as gold. Yes, there are some replica watches which are designed to accept genuine parts. The Omega Planet Ocean 42mm and 45mm models are good examples of this. You can replace every part on that replica watch with genuine parts. A modder takes a factory-stock watch and re-shapes the case or re-lumes the face and hands, replaces the winding crown with a genuine one .. little things which add up to a better product. Times Shop has been running a special sales promotion for 7 or 8 months now on Noobfactory watches. They are not a dealer on this forum, they are over on RWI (another rep forum). Noobfactory watch sales promotion
  22. Ok .. for that price point you can get a good Noobfactory Submariner with either a chinese copy of a swiss movement or a real swiss movement inside of it. The next level up is a rep rolex which has been refined by a modder in this community to bring it closer to perfection. You would be paying the initial cost of the watch and then the cost of their labor and talent on top of that. That brings you up close to 500 for a really good piece. Look at this ---> Modder BK's latest Submariner release
  23. If you look farther down the main page, you will see a "collector's area" ..... a collector is a dealer. They are all trusted merchants. Your question leads me to ask you .. you want to get the best but the best at what price point? The best $50 rolex or best $200 rolex or the best $500 rolex. Do you see what I mean? edit: and oh my god, my self-renewing subscription just expired by itself again.
  24. Welcome! Good to see you.
