thanks for all the interest, guys. Does anyone know if you can purple AR mineral crystal? No one carries a mini fiddy with sapphire.

My sister was going berserk over my full sized Fiddy this past weekend, and asked if there was a smaller version she could wear. After doing some looking, I see that Supermirrors has been selling a 44mm Mini Fiddy for years, but there are not a lot of pics or any current info at all about them. Does anyone have some good photos of this watch, or at least know if you can have blue AR applied to the plain mineral crystal? That's a deal breaker; she wants the purple blue glass. thanks for any and all info on this.

The discolorations on the case and bracelet are natural for rep watches .. dirt, oil, etc from the factory. Polish the watch when you get it and these will be gone. It happens all the time. Don't worry too much about those.

This photo is a great example for how overly-curved the Noobfactory insert triangle is .. you see on the gen that it is curved but a very very shallow curve. It almost looks straight. The Noob model's curve is very curved; way off.

I'm sure that a watchsmith here could at the very very worst case drill out your case, plug then drill and tap a new tube hole then install a gen crown ... anything can be done if you want to spend the $$ on it.

Since the DG4813, DG2813, and some SeaGull movements (collectively what we call A21j) are all rip-offs of the Japanese Miyota 82xx series, I was looking for some info on them, and WOW did i find some. Citizen watch Co (miyota) has a huge section of PDFs filled with tech info for all their designs. Here .. enjoy

Ok ... upon further research I find that the Japanese movements are dimensionally identical to the a21j clones but the Miyota movements do not hack, and are 21.6k beats. So yes, they are a direct replacement but it isn't high beat. Miyota/Citizen/DG a21j WIKIPEDIA

Can someone give a firm answer about tearing out a broken A21j DGx813 and dropping in a *real* Miyota movement? They are $40! These A21j movements are clones of the Japanese 8205 and 8215 movements ... are they drop-in replacements? That would be awesome. Citizen (miyota) automatic movements

You disappear for 6 months and then expect us to do your homework for you?! The last 42mm replica to accept gen parts was the v4. The POrikaa 42mm does not accept gen parts, so it was never called a v5. This new version accepts gen parts so it is known as the 42mm v5.

Thank you for telling me where to his site to find the watch, and yes, I will be happy to let you know the differences. This watch is an MBK v6 DSSD. It has a better dial than the NoobFactory, the titanium case back is much different, but you can not see this without taking the watch apart. Lastly, the pearl is so sexy. Also, you are the second person who says they got a DSSD a21j from Lay for $88 but I swear I can not find one on his site for that amount of money. So how do you get this deal? Lastly, the NoobFactory does not offer a21j in their DSSD. It's not a Noob.

You can return it to the Dealer or have it repaired locally. Tell the Dealer what happened, and they should offer to replace it.

Chris at EuroTimez championed the creation and evolution of this DSSD model. He named it the V5, when the Noobfactory DSSD was still called the v3. When EuroTimez went out of business suddenly, the Cartel twins changed the name of the Noobfactory v3 to the v5 ..
