  1. I look forward to seeing a review of this new model. I think it will be stunning with a Zig lume job.
  2. Josh and Andrew are the Cartel Twins .. they have the same merchandise. "The Cartel" refers to Josh & Andrew.
  3. It's a Noobmariner. This is why some people get their Noobs from BK. He takes a good base watch and makes it better for you. Straightens the crystal, etc.
  4. Email Sead (dealer) .. he often has some inventory in the US. Not more than a dozen different models normally tho
  5. Bravo. Another worthwhile project. I have been watching the 'bay for a silver Long Island crazy hours gen dial for the same purpose.
  6. Between the Christmas season and the upcoming Chinese New Year (weeks of delay) ... if you order anything this time of the year, you might as well go make yourself a sandwich and forget you ordered anything until it just shows up. Many many new buyers freak the hell out when they order something this time of year due to massive delays. Normal EMS ship time to the east coast of the USA is 5 days door to door and normal Air Mail time is 2 weeks door to door. Expect triple time with delays.
  7. It looks like this web site copies the words and images from the actual trusted dealer web site "Trusty Time" and then pretends it owns this info by calling it's site "TR Time" ... that's so sad. I hope you get your watch. these pictures are indeed of the new 42mm Planet Ocean version 5 replica, but again, it's all been stolen from TrustyTime. Here is the real URL for the trusted replica dealer "Trusty Time" run by Andrew. http://www.yourtrustytime.com/
  8. Welcome! Let's see what you have collected so far!
  9. Hi there. Welcome to the forum. Always assume that non-approved dealers are dishonest. There are a few well-known replica forums out there, and they each have their own approved, trusted dealers. Look at our list of dealers or the list of dealers on another popular forum and choose from these lists. Don't just find one on the Internet and pray they are honest.
  10. I would assume that gasket silicone is too stiff? I do not know for certain tho.
  11. In my experience, the average person is looking for a quartz movement, 1 beat per second tick on a replica, and have no knowledge about various beats in genuine Swiss movements. I do agree however that they expect any Rolex to have "smooth as glass sweeps".
  12. Thanks for posting this. It's a great video.
  13. Remember that it took 1 year for the new 42mm Planet Ocean rep to arrive in the web stores after Lani leaked it's development. So even if a rumor is absolutely true, it can be 2012 before you see it.
  14. Rob's availability changes over the year. Yes .. sometimes he is jammed up. Other times he takes new people. The only way to find out is to ask him.
  15. I would call this genuine but as someone said near the very top ... OPEN IT UP! There is no way a con artist is going to drop a genuine Omega movement into a high quality franken watch. It does not make cost/profit sense. capice: the 45 and the 42mm watches are very different. your photos are of a 42 and a 45.
  16. This has to be a third factory. Why would Noobfactory go *backwards* and return to the old, incorrect caseback. They fixed that early last year.
  17. I remember the Top Gear review of these. It floats around the road like a barge (as a truck will) so it's soft suspension is not suited to it's massive power. Then when you get it off-road, the suspension is not as durable or compliant as a normal Range Rover .. so it's ill-suited for what Range Rovers are supposed to be all about .. Off-road competence.
  18. That is not a clone movement, altho the Seagull eta clone movement has Pearlage as well. (just a note .. the Coates d'Geneva is the straight bars pattern (as on the rotor pictured here), and the little rounds are Pearlage) and I just noticed that my perpetually renewing subscription has expired by itself once again.
  19. Most people who advocate sealing the HeV with epoxy are talking about the false valve on older DSSD models, where the valve opens inward .. which is the completely incorrect direction of course.
  20. Please be careful with $88 replicas on a golf course. The impact/shockwave can knock off the hands and damage the movements. This is why the gen Tag Heuer "golf watch" is quartz! I have 2 of this model. One Long Island Crazy black numbers and one lozenge shaped (like yours) Crazy Colour Dreams ... a great watch.
  21. There has been a dark horse DSSD for over a year now, lurking in the shadows; some said it was a myth. A fantasy .. something existing only on the fringe of consciousness. I first saw one almost a year ago to this day. Highhozumdiddlyay was asking for an opinion on a DSSD his agent had discovered in MBK Mall. It had the HEV style of a Noobfactory piece but the reasonably thin hour markers of a DSSD v5/2010 model. What struck me about it the most, tho, was the neatly rounded pearl dome. This is that watch. I can't tell how well the diver's clasp is engineered from these pictures but it looks to be quite promising. Note the stepped date window .. not a bevel. That's good. Unfortunately it has the Noobfactory's over-arched bezel insert triangle. Too curved. It also inherits the Noobfactory's incorrect "pressure dome" case-back. Stepped instead of conical. This is never seen in common use, of course.
  22. Rob is the "Doctor House" of watch making. His astonishing knowledge of his craft is only matched by his expertise with the tools of his craft, leaving the common man thunderstruck in his wake.
  23. Not I. Sorry, bub. Good to see you btw. Maybe the topic title isnt explicit enough to attract the attention of someone who owns this.
