The "correct hand stack" gmt iic is prone to breakage. It is not a reliable timepiece, and anyway, it has not been available for purchase in years.
This is the only high quality gmt iic rep currently available.
If you don't agree with the long standing practice of paying for registered shipping to China, and a ~2 month wait, have the piece repaired/serviced by a trusted watchmaker with the cash you would have paid for shipping.

I think there are two version of this watch. One has an ETA and one has a Sellita movement .. the more expensive version has pearlage.

Phoband was overstating the seriousness of the issue with the modded movement. The pinion on the modified gear simply needs to be smoothed to fix the issue. Improper handling of this little pinion was the issue Zigmeister raised.
It's not as if the movement is inherently unfixable.
There is a forum modder on RWI who specializes in custom built vintage PAM like this. His work really stops traffic. I think he's named Rsea Vintage. Prices start around $400 for a quality item.
