  1. Eye candy is always good And, it's good to have a trademark! Only in my case, I need to vary up the subjects a little more...
  2. Well, there wasn't much on the topic of the leatherset pocket watch- Just this small reference to an advertisement: Hope this helps... R
  3. Ahhhh... Unfortunately not at the moment, HD. If I come across any, I'll let you know... BT- Har har... Very funny I should reiterate- This is only for those whom I have already committed to already. I may post some other freebies shortly (we'll see). Best, Randy
  4. Please email me to confirm what I need to send As it's been a month or so organizing my parts and the sort, I've lost track of what I need to send and to whom. So far, I have: pugs repaustria docb Anyone else?
  5. I'll check it out tonight. I haven't looked at it in quite a while anyways, so this will give me a good excuse to thumb through it for a bit
  6. I was gifted this book last year by a very generous and kind member here. I will have a look tonight. Pg. 136? What exactly are you looking for specifically?
  7. Gorgeous Padellone, J. And with quite the hefty price tag, too! Where on earth did you find this one? The last one I remember seeing was from the Mondani Collection... 141,000(?) Swiss Francs!!
  8. Why not build one? With a genuine case, dial, crown, bezel, etc. it will be indistinguishable from the exterior...
  9. 8171? I was doubtful of that ref, as the movement looks more like the one found in a 6062 (but the size of the 8171 seems to be more inline with your prior post). I am not very well versed in these older models...
  10. Ahhh... Nix my serial guess... I was thrown off by the dial (SWISS v. SWISS T<25)... Perhaps a replacement Lumi dial?
  11. This one looks like an oldie... U or A serial is my guess. Note that the bracelet is a loose end link example, solid SS clasp (no gold plating on the hull) and lug holes...
  12. Welllll.... I don't know if the dial is difficult to track down, per se They're just expensive, and not a logical choice to use for a franken due to cost
  13. Pugs- As an example... These are the taps to use... Tapping Tools (I know, I know... The desc. says it's for 5.3mm and 6mm tubes, but it will work on the 24-7030 as well- the case threads/base are 3mm on both). Here are the tube installation tools... Tube Tools Hope this helps... R
  14. Am I allowed to answer? (methinks this is another ff/913 trick question )
  15. What cracks me up is that you can see the 'Alpha' case in the foreground on the 2nd pic you attached as well as the crappy hollow SEL bracelet in the background.
  16. I'd like to see a pic of between the lugs. Doesn't have to be the s/n side (the model ref side would work)...
  17. Different. Definitely different. But, I must admit... I kind of like the EleeNo Orbit Elite...
  18. Therein lies the problem. One can't just assume that because a dial (or other specific part) doesn't match a specific picture that it is automatically a fake. If that were the case, then the Single Red 1665 would be cast out as a fugazzi. Same with Rails and other dial variations. There are four, yes, FOUR tritium dial variations for the 1665 DRSD, and three for the white. My comments and opinions stem from studying the brand as well as having had the benefit of experiencing a good portion of these goodies in my hand. There's nothing like first hand experience...
  19. There is absolutely dial printing variations. There were 3 dial makers at the time making dials for rolex. Stern, Bey and Singer. Each with differences in manufacturing, printing, etc.
  20. You're assuming that what's on Ed's site are the only ones to exist. Those are all open '6' dials... The one being discussed is a closed '6'...
