  1. Genuine large logo Domino's dials are different than the one pictured above. Legit large logos are still not that large; e.g. the logo should not extend into the center hole of the dial, and the sides of the logo do not sit as close to the 5:00 and 7:00 markers. Rather, the top of the logo should come just short of the hole, like this one on Dowling's site: http://www.ukwatches.com/images/domino.jpg Some other things to note: -T SWISS MADE T-, shape/height of the coronet, shape/size of the markers. Draw your own conclusions
  2. Nope. I read it. I just disregarded it.
  3. I went with davidsen's Pre-A 009, and put it on a tan Dirk...
  4. Depending on the dial, all you should need is the datewheel overlay for the date to line up. If you stack dials, you will offset the position of the stem, which will not work if the stem is not centered in the tube.
  5. A Domino's Pizza Air King 5500. Uhhh... First question is... Why? For what it's worth, that Domino's Pizza logo is way too large. It should not extend into the center hole of the dial. Looks to me like this may have been an old dial with an added logo, though that coronet looks a bit sketchy.
  6. An excellent choice, mkm! One of the best out-of-the box Rolex reps around, and perfect size for your wrist.
  7. Heywood... You've got some NICE projects in the works!
  8. Rocket- My good man, you have excellent taste!
  9. Omni- VERY NICE!! :o Section8- Nice FD!
  10. Vintage 16750 project is still in the works, but my 16710 TW Best is gone... Would have liked to have kept it, but I have more than enough to keep me busy at the moment...
  11. I don't typically collect books on watches, but this is one I'll have to get.
  12. If the subdial layout is 12-9-6, then a swap is possible.
  13. I believe Panerai reworks theirs to 21600bph (6497-2). Standard Swiss 6497-1 is still 18000bph.
  14. Agree... The center link on the SEL is cut very precisely. Me likey!
  15. An Excellent shot, BT! Making me regret parting ways with mine
  16. A VERY top notch vintage collection, Arthur! Well done!
  17. Trust me, guys... It's very rarely clean like this I don't have any of my tools out in the pics... Just one small box of bits, odds and ends and my watch box...
  18. This one for today...
  19. Yessir... These will absolutely fit a 2846 (as well as 2836 and 2824). I have mine installed on a 2846... The date paired with the slow beat finishes the look
  20. Inspired by Ziggy's tour of his work space, I thought I'd post a similar topic. Here's a quickie of my very humble work space. Please disregard the poor quality pics Home sick today, and since I'm not feeling great, I didn't spend much time in setting up. Anyways... Onto the pics... And sitting atop the table... And the one on my wrist... This is my 'lab' where frankens are put together
  21. Groups are so difficult to capture...
  22. Not the entire collection, but this shot represents some of my Coronets...
  23. #5... But, I will add that I absolutely despise doing lug hole drilling, and crown tubes.
  24. Yup... 2836 fits best.
