It does take gen movement without mod. Which is more accurate comparing to gen, WM9 or Sean/TC??
-
You're right, after google WM9 on net, it looks exactly like mine. I still prefer Sean or TC case though, is the best out of the box.
-
anyone has a similar case with serial number of M588XXX??
-
The top case reads V 9XXXXXX definitely from Sean, because I purchased it from Sean directly. Now, the bottom one M58XX where is this from?? Will be a easy tell if I try to install a gen movement tonight..............

Recently I've acquired a midcase 16610 T (M serial number) claimed to be Sean (etaswiss) from a member. After cleaned inside & outside of the midcase, found; 1. the crown guard is in a different shape, btw gen crown is on M case. 2. Crown (tube not screw tight yet) sitting much lower compare to my other Sean's sub case (V serial number). I am worry that the crown will touch the bezel once installed. 2. The lugs are pointy rather than flat compare to V case. 3. if you can spot others P/s: the one with insert is from V case. If you have a Sean's M serial number 16610 T case, please tell me this is the correct profile. Thank for looking.

How NOT to build a franken (16613)! New photos added

sometime in our life, we all forgot how much we have spent in certain things especially pursuing dreams.............hobby/interest. I watch what I spend because I can't afford it. There are a few times I nearly fell into traps and forget the budget line. At the end for some reasons, I did not pull the trigger. But I think, no matter what, if you enjoy it and fulfilling your desires, that's all matter and WORTH IT. Wear it in good health. You deserve it. p/s: BTW, I am collecting parts for franken 16613 black/gold -
How do you wear your bracelet banded watches?

little loose for cold weather more loose for hot weather -
I want one if that's the case. Thanks for the heads up.

Yes, but I think he is only working on bracelet. Unless you know something that I don't.

I am in the similar mood too. Thinking of using Sean's 16610 to start with. It is worth to get 18k solid gold from WSO or just using one the SS bezel and do the 18k plating on it?

Where to order a DWO with clockwise running numbers?

Just bought them from WSO. Might not get it for another 10 more days. You should have let me know earlier! -
Where to order a DWO with clockwise running numbers?
ck5533 replied to ck5533's topic in The Rolex Area
Very true. Why didn't I think about using 3035 date wheel since the dial is originally from 3135 movement. Thanks for the tips. I really like this place. -
My wife is asking me to get her a watch with quartz movement as all ladies hate to manually adjust the time & date regularly. After thorough research and bought a quartz movement (with all the same measurements as eta 2824) for my spare 15200 Rolex case. Only the second hand needs to be broached if you need to use them. The watch looks beautiful and light. UNFORTUNATELY, the DWO is turning clockwise, meaning the date is running backward!! BTW, the watch is fitted with TC DWO, gen dial and clarks hands. All I need is DWO printed with clockwise running number and the problem will be solved. All DWO we have seen so far are meant for auto movement and I never seen one with clockwise running numbers. If you know anyone can produce this, please let me know. Thanks for looking. ck

i did try many times, but it won't fit. It's way too small.... anyone has a pics/tuts to show....PLEASE

I bought a DWO V2 from TC some time ago and only decided to start my project recently. Found out the internal opening is too small for ETA2824. Is anyone has a similar problem or it is just me? Down to the photos for more details. It this a quick fix issue or TC has sent me a wrong one?
